  • Hmmm....I had always thought "goat people" were nice for the most part. Maybe I have always just been lucky. There are some pretty harsh and judgmental comments on here. I only milk two goats and I am looking for a milking machine. Has it not occurred to you that some people have arthritis in their hands and milking HURTS. Does that mean they should give up their goats? I don't think so. When milking by hand, I washed the entire udder and inside of legs. If a hair fell in the pail, it was clean.

  • @brendaAmerrick Amen to that - i think certain people are actually NOT "goat people" but more likely "snarky people".

  • @brendaAmerrick your rught some people like @fakir0005 are jerks and probably has never saw a goat in their lives. Go to hell fakir0005!

  • Loved the video... What do you do with your milk??

  • @HappyBubblesSoap we drink the milk raw, we make raw fresh chevre, yogurt, kefir!

  • Why do you even need milking machine to milk only seven goats. Seven goats could be milked in less than an hour. Washing the long hoses used by suction cups would take more than two hours and make the milk spoiled by salmonella and Ecoli and other germs.

  • @fakir0005 you are absolutely welcome to milk your own 7 goats by hand. Being a scientist myself I am very well aware of the food safety issues and I pay extremely close attention to both animal and equipment hygiene - My hoses are washed and sterilized within 15 minutes of decanting. Have a nice day!

  • @PhotoNika You are only aware of stupidity. You're talking about milking seven goats. People talk of milking ne goat with machines that too hand held machined. You are thre idiot not me. Is it sanitary with machines. You are idiot. No body made that claim. Thre only advantage of machines is that one person can manage as many as twenty, thirty machines. If you are only going to use one machine you've no advantage. Only disadvantages.

  • @PhotoNika U're not a scientist if u think milking Goats by machine is more sanitary. If I milk my goats by hand I'd not be making a video and posting on U tube to show I'm milking my 1 goat by machine. If u are a scientist & own 7 goats accept my challenge. I'd fly to your place & milk your 7 goats by hand. Record the time of my hand milking. U then do it for your machine milking. See which is faster. Then submit samples of the milk from both to a lab and see which is cleaner.

  • @PhotoNika U r trying to get bravos from people for stupidity and calling people stupid if people point out that milking 7 goats by machine is not that wise. If you think it is why do u have to convince every body in the world? Be happy that you have the portable machine . R u selling portable machines? I think you r. There is somebody selling hand operated milking machines. U'll save on electricity. It is easier to wash as it has no hoses. But it is equally stupid.

  • @PhotoNika Plus, I think, if you want to use a gadget, by all means, use a gadget right? Some people like machines and there's nothing wrong with being a bit nerdy! (like me)

  • @fakir0005 Your an idiot it aint takien 2 hours to wash machines it takes 15 minutes and it takes at least a couple hours to milk 7 goats by hand unless they do it themselves if your gonna argue at least have someclue of what your talkin about

  • @aquahomme98 You must be rinsing the container and hoses with your pee to wash it in fifteen minutes. You might be a fast Eddie and only dry cleaning the machine. You are the stupid one. You have never ever used a machine much less ever cleaned it. The milk you sell must be very soapy. But then you probably drink soap water because you can't afford real milk.

  • You treat your goats so kindly... good for you... this is the way all milking animals should be treated... Bravo!

  • What is your rate of vacuum, cubic feet per minute, from the pump? I have a surge that I am putting together with new pulsator and will still need a pump.

  • Do goat give milk all year around

  • @The1234cadillac each goat breed is different. ours is very seasonal - they breed in the fall, have babies in february or march, give us milk until the fall.

  • @Mivaxx yep - its a relief and certainly not painful

  • What size vacuum pump are you using?

  • this is very nice i wish i could afford a milking michine

  • Perazah: No, the nigerian dwarves are much smaller. These LaManchas are full size. Milk output varies by time in season and per animal. Early after freshening they might put out 3/4 gal each. (some LaManchas can give much more - up to something like 2 gal a piece but please dont think they are all that way)

  • It looks like Nigerian Dwarfs

How much does it produce milk per day?

  • This is a breed call LaMancha - they have no floppy ears but the do have the actual ear to hear (very well!)

  • what happened to her ears?

  • Comment removed
