"thats to be expected" dude you rock. I'll have to pick up some bean sprouts. Been craving Japanese style ramen for a long time now (well since the last time I was over there anyway)
@Luck7And7GunShells7 To include those vegetables, then it wouldn't be Asian Ramen noodles. Plus, you cannot eat peas or corn with chop sticks. :) Carrots? I'd have to boil them and wait longer than I'd want. :)
The only other ingredients I've seen in Ramen, depend on the type of soup you're having the noodles with. :) There's Cabbage, green peppers, onions, radish, ginger, etc. Think about what they have available in Japan (what grows there, not what comes from a can or other means). :)
@Luck7And7GunShells7 Dude you can throw ANYTHING in ramen and it will taste fucking tasty... Me personally. I use various spices and celery and onions... White mushrooms are a good addition too...
@Polaf3456 true, but then it wouldn't be the Asian way, it would be kind of an Americanized way. lol I usually stick to what they've put into Ramen, to keep it the way they intended it to be. :)
But, don't be afraid to add other vegetables, just make sure you don't add anything similar to potatoes or weird meats (veggies that add starch or fall apart when boiled).
If you want meat in it, soy sauce soup base is for red meat and this one, soy bean paste, is best with pork. :)
You forget, the egg isn't coming straight from a Chicken that just laid it in a farm, its been cleaned and then put an artificial coating over the shell again before it goes to market for purchase.
The eggs been boiling for 5-6mins before I put the dried Ramen noodles in it. I time the eggs to about 9-10mins and I put in the dried noodles 5-6mins after the eggs already boiling. Plus, I boil filtered water separately for the soup, not the same water I boiled the egg in. ;)
are you a retard? you can get a fucking salmonella if you eat the noodles with the same water you boiled the fucking egg! moron... dont blame me if you get sick... i just warned...
@WalkingExecution you do know that is a common misconception right america is only one out of some countrys that you can get salmonella but i dont know where this guy lives though
@captainwolf1 actually you can get an salmonella out of any bird that havent been raised by the principles, wich means that it is possible for you to get salmonella of the eggs AND raw chicken just so you know. theres been many infections in europe also... btw why are you atomatically expecting that im from US? just so you know ive never even been outside of skandinavia....
@lshsballer you're lucky, just make sure its not the cheap stuff and looks similar to the same as the one in my video (look at the fine print and see where it came from, too). :)
@SlashvsAdamSadler I think there's a different section there should be the "asisn" isle where things are lables different. they should be there. Hope it helped
@iUnitedpk thanks "! I've found an asian ''super market'' in my city. The people that run it are asians and there is planty of ramen noodles (to cook) !!!
@SlashvsAdamSadler these are found at the Asian market. I've never seen them in a standard supermarket at all. Most cities have an Asian area (like China town or Korea Town, etc) and there's usually an Asian supermarket there where more than 80% of items are from Asia countries (including fruits, vegetables, etc). This will be your best bet in finding the one I used. You want to get the Miso flavored ones. :)
Standard supermarket cheap noodles won't do (those are remake of Chinese version).
@thedarknesscrap I hope you mean this exact same one, not another nae brand ot translated into english. Those others are not the same as the one in my video.
I've seen chinese noodles sold 6 or 10 in a plastic package, those are the super cheap imitations of the one I made, plus they don't taste as good. :(
