You have never seen the PAN (Italian Acrobatic Team) who is generally recognized as the best all over the world. Serious team operate wih not less than 8 aircrafts.. Italian team operates with TEN aircrafts (Macchi 339). The japanese team is a basic level!

In fact everything I've seen shows the Blue Impulse flying smoother more consistent formations at even spacing. As far as I know, Blue Impulse also retains a better safety rating.

the Red Arrows invented almost all of the maneuvers in this video. The japanese and other display teams copy a lot of the red arrows stuff. Im not complaining. The Red Arrows are the best.

The aerobatic demonstration of the RAF (and the not RAAF) is the Red Arrows. The airplane that they use is the Hawk, one supersonic hunting of training.
