I loved this song, but feel it has been overplayed. However, I completely agree with you that it's perfect for them from Eric's POV! Your video gives the song new life, and you should feel fabulous about a job well done!!

I always liked this song, though it's cliched like you said. But when I re-listened to it while searching for a song that suited my intentions, it was like Eric was speaking through the singer's voice...

It also has a very clear rhythm, and that helped me a lot. ;)
