  • Try working off-ice, it really helps. Not a bad attempt. I've landed mine, but I just lost it, I landed my first axel on tape when I was 11, and my first double salchow last jauary, but then lost it, then landed it again, then lost it, again, lost it, finally I can do it without losing it, still working on double toe, and I landed my first double loop last wednesday, then I landed it again on thursday, then lost it. I'm 12 now. What level are you in?

  • I love that you don't just post when you land it!

  • Good attempt. Just a bit more strength in the legs, stomach and upper body and you'll hold it in place soon.

  • very good try!

  • oh right on!

That's good that you stuck with it though.

  • wow god job, not a bad try at all.

How long have you been in skatingg?

And wow do you get the ice all to yourself?

  • I've been skating since I was 8, in private lessons since 13, I'm 27 now but I quit for four years in college. :) The ice was empty because I skate on public figure skating sessions in the middle of the day.

  • I don't know anything about doubles, but I think if you had a deeper knee bend with your left leg, you might get more height and be able to finish the rotation in the air. But yeah, this was a really good try!
