is this the last boss/chapter of this game?!?!?!?! thats really weird.. i got this a few/couple years ago..not sure.. i beat this boss about 3-5 times, this is chapter 10/11 of the game right?? but anyways, i bought this game used and when i loaded it up for the first time there was a file that said chapter 13!!!! i thought there was something wrong with mine! :/ :P

I did this with Vaan, Penelo, Kytes, Filo and Llyud, all at around level 50. I took out both arms easily then camped next to the stairs on the mace-hand side with Kytes and spammed elemental spells on the body because there's a spot where you can target the body from there. You know, just next to that raised platform.

I usually kill the wand, then the fist, then the chest. Whatever works for different people. 7:15 hate when that happens. I use Penelos quickening, but all my espers are dead lol.

@acetrainer95 You should never be underleveled, even if you don't grind much. It's just that the last mission of the game the enemies are level 99 because you have 100% completion.

golems were a better choice for me over wyverns becuz of the higher defense and immobilize, and vaan's anastasia is awesome if leveled up in the bonus dungeon he totally own's feolthanos.

i had to make tough decisions on who to bring its weird without a cheat winning was impossible but with a tiny not unlimited health cheat and good summons i can win .

I have no clue why, but my characters are level 55 - 86 and I still lose. I have completed all other missions so the Wing Wraiths (Lord of the Rings rip off) are level 99. I can defeat those Wing Waiths in 5 - 20 seconds, then i lose when he summons Bahamut. How should I go about fighting him?

@sephirothXXXX I beat this bos with a level 45 party. the trick is to hyde kyte in the corner right of the platform and attack the boss core with charge and flare wile your flying character old the enemy and get heal by your healer. this way you dont get hit by the boss super beam.

wierd on this video the wring wraiths are level 99 but on mine it says they are level 55 do you know why? and i think you should use: djiin lvl 49 salamander lvl 49 carbuncle lvl 50 tonberry lvl 50 and bahamut lvl 51

You need to 100% the game to get the lvl 99 version.

I used wyverns for rank II espers because they're ranged and you can get more of them attacking the body at once, I didn't bother changing rank I and that's why I have chocobo's.

Type in "final fantasy revenant wings ROM" and "nintendo DS emulator" on google and search around for the downloads for them.

They're a pain to get working and you may also have to mess around with settings in able to have your game save (It saves but deletes the file when you next go on the game) so make sure you save and restart asap to check if it remains.

Basically you just need to keep using Basch's quickening, the video and description should give an idea of how to get it full and keep it maintained, it's getting it full that's the hard bit.

Bahamut battle for me was weird everyone except penelo died so I summoned a balasa to keep bahamut busy so I could escape and ran in circles reviving every one .that carbuncle kept healing bahamut it was annoying my esper roster was shiva salamander carbuncle balasa and ifrit. My leaders were vaan penelo llyud balthier and basch all lv 60s or 1 or 2 Lvs less

You can try what i did with Basch in this vid, otherwise for a faster but more dangerous way work your way up to an hand with everyone and make Basch and a rank 3 esper attack it when you get close, have everyone else cover the back and put your healers in the centre of both teams, if anything goes wrong it'll be Basch and the rank 3 dying but they would have dealt alot of damage to the hand so if it starts looking bad then pull back with everyone else and leave them to die...

Then you can go to the slower and safer method which is to keep sending a rank 3 esper with 2-3 rank 2's to take out the rest of the hand.

To take the body send your 2 strongest leaders up to attack it along with a rank 3 esper, they'll keep dying so leave Penelo and some carbuncles to the side near the hands (on the ground floor) to heal and revive them and leave some rank 2 espers and any other leader at the bottom but to the side of the steps to take wraiths out when them up top die.

You can beat him with any party but without Basch's invincibility then it's really hard, your looking at around at least level 65 if you don't use Basch and know exactly what you're doing, otherwise 70+ would seem reasonable.

Dude, I beated Feolthanos at level 43 (Vaan, Penelo, Kytes, Filo thingy and Llyud), without using Basch. So am I too good (probably not), or is everything your saying is some sort of crap?

We're talking about the level 99 version of Feolthanos, 40-45 is about average lvl for the normal Feol but he's much, much harder at lvl 99, the Wing Wraiths alone will decimate you at that level.

The max level i've been on my strongest characters was around 70 and even then it was still pretty hard by normal means but it was a big difference from when i attempted it at level 50 lol so i suppose it'll be easy.

the mission for bahamut is available on chapter 9 or 10, to do it just put a leader in each corner of the map whilst controlling penelo to run around and revive them while constantly summoning espers from different summoning gates to kill the enemies and whenever possible use kytes to throw a nuke or 2 in

its the same on the PC as it is on the DS

its a free mission unlocked on chapter 10 called "wings of midnight", you fight a bunch of rank 3 espers then bahamut appears and thats when the above strategy is relevant and by nuking i mean spells

depends how you do it, taking out the 1st hand can be pretty hard at a low lvl and then bahamut is hard but this is a fast and easy way as long as you can get a quickening chain going which can be fairly hard to pull off since you die fast , definately 1 of the harder lvls though, i beat yiazmat alot easier without this strategy
