Hi, I'm about to upgrade from a black macbook to a MacBookPro 2.4 in a month, is it easy to scratch the keyboard? Does it get dirty easily? I was thinking of getting a wireless keyboard just to make sure i dont scratch it but it is not necessary, thanks!!
No scratches here but I am really really careful with it and don't even close the lid. I have heard that they don't scratch easily. There are rumors of an ultra thin and light version with a smaller screen coming out in 2008
ive looked on the apple website because i am planning to buy a mbp but i dont know how to tell if it has the santa rosa chipset? do they all have it now?
I know what you mean, it is like they have moved away from calling it "santa rosa". My box that the computer came in says "santa rosa". Apple now calls it "Latest Intel mobile architecture
Powered by the most advanced mobile processors from Intel".
yes exactly the 2.2 was the cheapest way to get into a macbook pro. I have read about people complaining that the new macbook pro's don't play computer games very well, but I don't get game yet.
it is a difficult decision, I got 15.4" and sacrificed screen size for the mobility and lighter weight, it is1lb less than the 17" plus the $1,000 difference. You only lose 1.6 inches.
ur video is really good! i cant wait to get mine im ordering it tomorow!

yup mine is still in the plastic, you can barely see it in the video except when I show the back you can see a little black bar code thingy.

Music, titles + transitions wouldn't have gone a miss...

that's really exciting!
but I have a complaint: if you say you'll be editing it in iMovie, it would've been cool if there were some effects or music or something.
still a cool video, the box in the background as you opened it for the first time was really neat.

Santa Rosa is the codename for the new chipset, not processor.

No problems with the sound but the speakers are not that loud, they are just ok. Did you see the new Imacs that came out today?

I think it was all the models! I googled problems with MacBook Santa Rosa. Hopefully Apple has already fixed the problem.

Nice Mac, next time put music in the background of your video..makes things more interesting.

That's bilogni. The Santa rosa Macbooks fly in games, even with the "pre-mature" drivers.
