I just tied the Yellow Butt. This is a really easy fly to tie. The Chenille I found to use instead of the Peacock Chenille, is from Bass Pro Shop. It is the White River brand and is the Pearl Chenille Medium Black which looks just like the Peacock Chenille you used. Thank you for sharing this fly.
@FlyFishVideo I will definitely be using other colors. Also I'll try using some Estaz for the body. I was wondering, do you know where she was able to purchase the peacock chenille that she was using? I tried googling it and search several fly tying shops with no luck.
@genefranques I've seen the peacock chenille at different fly shops but can't remember who makes it. I think they carry it at Blue Ribbon Fly shop in Mountain Home, Arkansas but I'm sure you can find it closer. My friend Don Reed at SaltwaterFlyTyers can probably get it for you if you drop him an email. Maybe others can help as well?
The body is made from chenille, a yarn like material. The most common source is from a fly shop unless you can find it in a really good yarn shop. It's much like a pipe cleaner but has a string core rather than a metal core. Pipe cleaners aren't used because they rust after they get wet so they don't last long. Try to find some medium chenille if you can.
We need more Beth videos on here! Beth, I love your butt!

@genefranques Try some other colors of chenille as well. That's half the fun of tying your own flies - trying different colors and materials.
