How to install Apache 2.2.14 + PHP 5.2.12 and Mysql on Windows 7

okay i went through the entire video no problem, including adding in the index.php.. but when i add in my own code staff.php and go to localhost/staff.php it shows a white page? but source code shows up? NO ITS NOT BECAUSE OF THE PORTS!? what else?

Nevermind. I figured it out. I had to move the php5apache2_2.dll to the right folder and change the PHPIniDir to the right one and everything is all go! Thanks :)

hi can someone help me. i am install php 5.3.6. in this video @ 2.07 we can see that there are many options and apache 2.2.x is selected. while i tried to install php, i get only two option IIS FastCGI, Other CGi and do not setup a web server :S. can someone tell me why i dont have the other options or which one of these 3 must i select. plz

@prawarna zlib.dll should already exist in the c:\webserver\apache\bin directory. For some reason, maybe a bug, Apache is trying to find zlip1.dll. Just go to a command prompt. Start>cmd and then type cd:\webserver\apache\bin and then type copy zlib.dll zlib1.dll (this will make a copy of zlib.dll as zlib1.dll); it seemed to work fine for me. Hope that helps.

i did everything but i get the following error "windows could start the Apache 2.2 service on Local Computer. Error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly."

I checked the ports being used and none of them are using port 80.

Any help s greatly appreciated.
