  • Is there a "burst fire" version? , Is civilian legal ?

  • @Brementuning007 Yes, and no.

  • Houstonprouctions, the point is you're slinging .45 acp, not 5.56 or 7.62

  • #1 CQB. Not the 12 g shotgun. Great video!

  • Nice vid. Thanks for sharing. This will be my next purchase.

  • this is legal for civilians?

  • @alsayed30 Yes, it is, In the US ofcourse

  • Previously looking at the H&K UMP 45 I thought it was cool liitle firearm, but this Super V is much cooler and I gotta get me one, thanks for sharing :-)

  • You still have the collar for the e1b light

  • Lets say tho that you take the stock of the Kriss. could just say then it would be considered a pistol or you would you have to still get the SBR stamps?

  • how can I get this firearm with the 5.5 inch barrel?

  • What type of optics do you have on the Kriss

  • You could have spent that $1,700 on something useful like an AR or even an AK and a thousand or so rounds of ammo for it... and maybe even a high-end optic for that much money!... the kriss is an ergonomic low-recoil handgun, it offers no more capabilities than a handgun can offer, and with a 5 inch barrel, its not even slightly more powerful, aside from it looking kinda cool... what is the point?

  • @XHustonProductionsX Because most of us...and Im sure this guy already owns 20 grand worth of ar-15's...borrrringgggggg. This gun is cool as shit and the full auto version was rated one of the most deadly close quarters weapon. Gun is badass man. I also think it looks cool as hell

  • @H2Prince Most deadly close quarters weapon? I don't think so, not when there are 12 gauge shotguns with 00 Buckshot and Slugs! ;) what you said is exactly what I meant... the ONLY good thing about it is that it looks cool... thats IT!

  • I always get pissed off when I see the Vector, since our overlords do not allow us to own the "real" version.

  • it might be a good gun but damn it is ugly, but then again it's not built to do pretty things

  • @1984wrx I think it looks sexy. I hate smooth weapons. Smooth weapons are for pussies. It is like modern cars. Old cars are far sexier and boxy.

  • This gun is actually called the KRISS Vector. I'm disappointed that the fact was never mentioned in this video. KRISS USA is the name of the company. KRISS USA used to be TDI. Super V is the name of the technology, the action, that this gun uses.

  • i love how youre fighting an urge to start cheesin everytime you shoot it. do you still have the firearm? hows it servin you?

  • @fluffykittynoodles It is a fun gun to shoot, no doubt. Yup, I still have it and it's been treating me very well. It's been completely reliable and surprisingly accurate. I don't think I'll ever be able to sell it, I enjoy it far too much.

  • Sir, You said Carrying same caliber is much easier.

I have a M1911 which is a .45 ACP but Mags don't fit in lol.

    Nice video!

  • Sir, I was running the KRISS mag extension on my Glock 21 and couldn't get it to cycle reliably. Has TDI aslo resolved the mag extension issue? I bought the extension and the glock mag seperatley then put it together.

  • @njurado87 My extended mags were purchased complete from TDI, I haven't purchased any of the conversions and put them on my magazines. I would make sure you have the spring installed correctly and nothing is binding. Then I would give TDI a call to see if they can help. But mine all work without issue.

  • People like this are why all other countries are scared shitless of ever invading upon US soil. =D

  • @fireitwithkill16 thats why they are like that who would ever invade America?

  • Hey do you know a good way to enhance the mag to a drum or another size without having issues with harmonics, every time i try to modify it i cant get it to go full auto

it keeps lockin up on me

  • i wish i was in america. All we get it one shot air rifles.

  • Do you know when Kriss reworked the internals to make the gun reliable? Thanks for the review.

  • this system has alot of potential, i would love to see them put the Super V in a full sized rifle

  • this guys serious? i appriciated the run thru, break down and the info, but, he's firing crappy ass reloads that are slowing down the action and bitching about it so much that the company wants to give him an updated version? and hes still firing crap out of it?

  • I would love to see some more footage of this gun in action, maybe a few drills? VTAC 1-5, maybe some speed reloads? I'd like to get one but i can't seem to find enough footage to see how well it works when firing faster. I've read plenty about it but i would also like to get my hands on one b4 i purchase.

  • I was so close to buying one in 09 but plans don't work like they should so next year I'm getting one.

  • @Sturmgewehre What is the recoil like, does it feel like being punched in the shoulder or a light tap. I want to know, i plan on firing one. And i also want to know round cost. Does it cdost alot for a .45 cal ammo? Nice vid BTW it was very helpful but where can i get a full/semi auto? and at what price?

  • @DailyFailTV1 are you kidding? go to the store and see what the ammo costs. Really?

  • how would it do for a lefty?

  • Excellent review, super thorough.

  • Why don't they make one of these in 10mm? It would definitely have a better effective range than the one in .45 acp

  • awesome vids man. need to see if i can try it out at the range

  • wished they made them in 10mm..!!!

  • how much do u get paid for advertising the products

  • Thanks for making this.

  • haha, you called it a rifle. It's a submachine gun, dude.

  • @LWRCftw Mine is semi-auto, dude, so it's a pistol calibered rifle/carbine. :)

  • @Sturmgewehre Is there a full-auto version or can this semi-auto be modified to fire full

-auto? It's great that the mags are compatible with a glock since it's also my favorite pistol. I was also wondering if you can replace the shorter barrel with a longer one.

  • @dredgewalker I have the Carbine Kriss. Mine comes with a factory 16 inch barrel and shroud. His is the SBR (short barreled rifle) version. The SBR is the ideal form for the Kriss. As it was designed as a SMG first then made into a Civilian carbine later.

  • @dredgewalker You cannot legally get one in full auto or convert it to full auto.

  • @Sturmgewehre lol, a pistol-calibered rifle. that's a tad odd :)

  • @Sturmgewehre Why Semi-Auto? You got the SBR get the FA!

  • @Sturmgewehre anything that fires pistol rounds (lower caliber ammo) = sub machine gun. Rifle = rifle rounds (higher caliber ammo). :D

  • @vlad1500 "Sub" and "machine gun" are totally different phrases. While "sub" is used to describe pistol calibers, "machine gun" isn't synonymous with handgun cartridges. The phrase "machine gun" has a very specific legal meaning in the US and it has nothing to do with caliber.

  • @LWRCftw submachine guns are select fire this is not so you are wrong. This is a short barreled RIFLE.

  • @Lord666Belial rifles shoot rifle caliber bullets. If it's a pistol caliber, you just can't called it a rifle, imo.

  • @LWRCftw Well you would be incorrect. Because pistols can shoot rifle rounds also like the PLR-16 shoots the 5.56. The length of the weapon distiguishes class. If it is unable to shoot in any other mode other than semi auto then it is not a sub machine gun.

  • Comment removed

  • I like the recoil reduction / rotating bolt idea. I would totally buy a kriss if it were in 10mm

  • lol... he said very small little package

  • Hey my favorite hand gun is a glock 20 I love the 10mm it packs a punch

  • Omg just like in cod!

  • @Pointburn GET OUTA HERE.

  • @singsam271 Haha just kidding

  • @Pointburn ok lol phew.scared me for a second. thought this was gonna turn into one of "those" videos. lol.

  • @singsam271 ahahah

  • เท่อ่ะ

  • Why are you tempting me to buy a Glock and a KRISS! Its evil I tell you! *clutches his Officer 1911.*

Sarcasm aside, if they make the KRISS in 9mm, I might be able to talk my father into getting one or at least some of those really cool mag extensions. I've loved the KIRSS design for a while, but I didn't know they were compatible with Glock mags.

  • works ready good but the price 1800 realy hurt i can buy 4 ak or buy a sterling sub..

  • works ready good but the price 1800 realy hurt i can buy 4 ak

  • You're "Not ready to proclaim that the KRISS is as reliable as the AK"? If you don't know that "yet", then you have a lot to learn & about 66 years worth of shooting to do with the KRISS to "Proclaim" that the AK is a FAR more reliable, rugged & superior. Not to only is comparing a polymer carbine with a one-off recoil system, to the most reliable assault rifle in history is RIDICULOUS! If you were to say that as a joke it would be funny, saying in a serious manner is a joke, and not a funny one

  • @HungarianLegionnaire Lighten up, Francis. It was a joke.

  • @Sturmgewehre Uh, Francis ? ...If it was a joke, it would have been said in a joking manner, a laugh, a smile ect. Nothing he said or his body language said it was a joke.

  • @Sturmgewehre By the way, with your time in the the USMC were you ever stationed at Camp Lemonier in Djibouti ? There is a French Foreign Legion Garrison, that trains US Military in Desert Survival Training. It's not as brutal or intense as what they put Legionnaires threw, (The Caporal Chef isnt allowed to hit anyone the US Military). Just wondering if you meet any Legionnaires when in the USMC. When I was there, so was 1st Recon was training with us, great guys, we were all very completive.

  • @Sturmgewehre LOL. Stripes!!!!

  • @HungarianLegionnaire he said that its not as reliabkle as an ak. he is not. this is a fact. so calm down.

  • @singsam271 12:06 - 12:21 "Since getting it back from KRISS and having it updated to the most recent components, I'd say this things pretty reliable, actually It's been 100% reliable for me. I'M NOT READY TO PROCLAIM THAT THIS THING IS, YOU KNOW UH IS (IS AS RELIABLE AS AN AK I DON'T KNOW YET), BUT I'M GOING TO CONTINUE TO SHOOT IT, I'M GOING TO SHOOT IT A LOT THIS SUMMER AND I'LL REPORT BACK IF I HAVE ANY PROBLEMS"

That sounds a lot like IT COULD in time be as reliable as an AK just not YET.

  • @HungarianLegionnaire

It's his opinion... if you don't like it then don't watch? Jeez, it's not like his telling you, 'Go buy this gun, it's the most reliable thing ever invented.'

Anyway, what's the big issue with him saying it's reliable?

  • @DJayye How is it that an "opinion"? He didn't even make one, he made a statement, I have no problem when he is saying the KRISS is reliable, but then saying that it may or may not be AS RELIABLE AS AN AK then there's a difference I have an opinion that the KRISS is nowhere near the reliability or has a minute measurement it can hold to the AK47/74's Reliability, Combat Record & Numbers produced. That's an Opinion, if you don't like what I have to say then don't reply to my comment, got it ?

  • @HungarianLegionnaire

Nope that's a statement too. You mad bro?

  • @DJayye Stay in School kid maybe you aren't that far along or just dumb as fuck, as I said "How is it that an "OPINION"? He didn't even make one, he made a STATEMENT" and your still messaging me, trying to argue with me? Here: STATEMENT: "A definite or clear expression of something in speech or writing" & OPINION: "A view or judgment formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge" Get Schooled. Think your tough on the net kid, you live at home with mommy, You gay bru?

  • @HungarianLegionnaire

Wasn't definite, you even said it yourself. He said he wasn't ready to proclaim it was as reliable as an AK and then later remarked he was still testing it. If your going to try and challenge people, try and be smart about it. And you are mad bro.

  • @DJayye Exactly "I'M NOT READY TO PROCLAIM THAT THIS THING IS, YOU KNOW UH IS (IS AS RELIABLE AS AN AK", that would be the same thing as if you were going to jump out of an airplane and aren't sure, or if your planing on killing someone but just aren't READY, which is in a suitable state for an activity, action, or situation; fully prepared, to PROCLAIM: announce officially or publicly. He's not Fully Prepared to Announce, the KRISS is as reliable as an AK with out further testing. You gay bro?

  • @DJayye I'm 26 years old in 1 of the most Elite Military Fores in the world,The French Foreign Legion. I've been to Afghanistan, I've been threw almost a year of training by some of the fucking biggest assholes in Le Legion Ive had my ass kicked by my Caporal Chef for not "properly shaving" every hair off my face. Ive been shot 2x on 1 deployment by a now dead member of the Taliban. & You think you a little bitch 17 year old kid could possibly make me mad? UR just a kid who lives with mommy.

  • @HungarianLegionnaire

Bringing up your qualifications doesn't mean anything to me. I don't give a crap about who you are or what you've done. But your trying to call me a liar and trying to insult me.

And honestly, did I need to know your in the French Foreign Legion? Congratulations, but it still doesn't make any difference in that your being idiotic and that your overly touchy about people making comparisons with the AK.

    And yes. You are mad.

  • @DJayye You asked me if you make me mad & I stated my threshold for being "mad" your a 17 year old kid, thus lacking the intelligence or capability of making me an Elite Legionnaire "mad". Its actually easy my user name isn't just 2 words, I'm from Hungary & a Legionnaire. I never called you a liar, you just can't understand context in which the statement RE: the KRISS reliability to that of an AK. Copy/Past the quote I wrote from Sturmgewehre get a dictionary & analyze it.

  • @HungarianLegionnaire

Yes okay sir. You truly are the most elite member of the most elite military forces in the world. Congratulations on your eliteness and the fact that your face must be completely clear of all hair.

  • does the kriss cycle the .45 GAP ammunition that the glocks use due to the shorter length of the cartridge as opposed to a slightly longer .45 ACP cartridge?

  • @explicitkennels I couldn't tell you, i've never tried firing 45 GAP out of the KRISS or any other .45 ACP pistol.

  • I take an AK47 over this piece of shit. This thing is not reliable and cost too much that's why law enforcement agencies aren't too crazy about it. And please don't try to compare this crap to an AK47.

  • @iceman5815 The weapon was never meant to replace a rifle and it was built using the AK method. Big parts!! I have one and it's super easy to clean, can take a lot of punishment and fires everytime!! (Like an AK). As far as reliability goes law enforcement does like it over other SMG's but the cost is high for this weapon. I have look at a lot of SMG's in .45 and this is a great weapon! Do a comparison with a UMP45 you'll see the difference.

  • i dont know too much about guns, but isnt this a sub machine gun and not a carbine? it fires the .45acp, which is a pistol round, and its fully automatic so...?

  • @monkeyxpwner The version in the video is a SBR/SO (short barrel rifle/special ops) and it's not fully automatic. The SMG version is available for military/law enforcement and class 3 license holders.

  • I just ordered this gun myself, should arrive in 6-8 weeks.

  • i have a super-v and the ejector bends the case mouth somethin terrible. did you have this problem before you sent it in? maybe time to send mine in.

  • @sniperhat1 Mine would just barely eject. It would often times eject so softly that the spent case would fall back into the ejection port can cause a malfunction. Now it ejects more like an HK91 or AK, it throws the brass quite far from the rifle. I've not had a problem with it damaging the mouth of the case.

  • @Sturmgewehre What type of ammo are you using?

  • @craw0808 Federal .45 ACP or Winchester .45 ACP. Both brands are 230 grain FMJ. Don't use that steel jacket russian crap!

  • @craw0808 I use Federal or Winchester. Sometimes I'll get a crazy hair and try others but I like to stick to those two band names. I haven't gotten into reloading yet but It will be in the works at a later time.

  • @sniperhat1 What type of ammo are you using? I have noticed the ammo does make a difference in performance with this weapon. I mainly use federal or winchester ammo. I have tried some other cheap stuff and it gave me ejection issues also.

  • great review but i have a question about those 30 round clips ive heard they jam up a lot have you had any problems with them

  • @marksmissingagain I have the 30 round clips and they have never given me an issue at all. If there is jamming issues it's the ammo.

  • how this weapon work in water and dust ?

  • @MrBaawar85 It works like an AK-47!!! It doesn't stop spitting out slugs not matter how dirty it is!

  • AWESOME review...easily the best video i have seen on this weapon system, THANK YOU. The only questions i have left are how hard is it to clean after like 500 rds; and how does it hold up in the elements like rain/water or a little mud?

  • great video.., these super v's are sweeeet

  • how's the trigger on that?

  • I can't tell, is it open bolt or closed bolt?

  • @ItzImprobable It's a semi-auto, so it fires from a closed bolt. Open bolt semi-autos have been banned from manufacture for a while now.

  • Can you only do that with glock mags or will it take other pistol mags?

  • I didnt know the Kriss Super V was even compatible with glock mags! I have wanted one for a while, now I have an exuse to pick one up!

  • How much does the full auto version cost? I might have a few people in Mexico who are interested in buying this weapon system.

  • @Makron5 You're kidding, right?

  • @Makron5 You're kidding, right?

  • @SierraTangoGuns Mexico is a dangerous place in some parts, especially for businesses that move valuable cargo. You need to have good people armed with the best equipment you can get them.

  • @Makron5 You are a scum trying to get weapons for drug runners. You have no business being in this country, let alone getting the innocent civilians in this country hurt and killed for your drug profits.

  • My friend cousin made the kriss

  • i'm sooooo jealous !!!

  • Good review

  • @Sturmgewhehre are they full auto,

  • @jrewdown21 there is a full auto version but i do not know if they are for sale for civillians

  • what did you have to do in your particular state to purchase an sbr?

    great video by the way.....

  • @explicitkennels Complete a form 1 or 4, get CLEO sign off, get finger prints, get pictures and submit everything to the ATF with a $200 check.

  • So, I'm assuming the extended magazines for Glocks fit in the Kriss as well?

  • @ScArKiLLa45 Yeah they're all interchangeable.

  • I live in California and am picking mine up 6/24. I can't wait. Great job on the video by the way. And now I need a Glock (dammit) :-)

  • @Sturmgewehre I found the video quite helpful,iI live in California and we have strict gun laws. The manufature gave some shop that would sell me one,but i wonder if I need a licence to own one.Thank you very much I will take you advise.

  • Where can i purchase one, what states have restrictions

  • @jrewdown21

I'm not familiar with the laws in all 50 states. You can swing by your local gun shop and ask them if they can order one of these rifles for you. But most states have no laws prohibiting your owning one of these rifles. But there are a few states that will have restrictions, and your local gun shop should be able to give you regional info on these laws that I don't know about.

  • First video of yours I have watched... Saw you on the voting for TVCA and I have to say... The company that makes this weapon should be paying you because I went from laughing at the KRISS to wanting one and searching for meh credit card.....GREAT review and almost a commercial>.>

  • @vampire847

    Thanks.

Out of curiosity, what is "TVCA"?

  • @Sturmgewehre the tactical viewers choice awards

  • @vampire847

Oh, cool. Doesn't look like I did too well in those. :)

  • @Sturmgewehre Sorry I didn't vote for you because I didn't see to many vids... but next yer you are getting my vote for most informative! You are like nutnfancy... cept BETTER>.> great amount of information and awesome shooting vids! Oh also shorter vids which is a good... ok no I have lots of free time make longer vidsXD

  • @vampire847

I appreciate the future vote. :) There's no need to apologize for not voting for me. I'm not out to win video awards right now... I'm focused on putting together the best videos I can to keep growing the channel. If that culminates into winning a "Gunnie" down the road, sweet. But I'm just getting started in all of this (only been at it about 7 months now) and have a lot of stuff I want to do before I worry about winning popularity contests. :p Thanks for watching.

  • @Sturmgewehre How many rounds have you fired down range before having to clean this thing? I'd assume that such a complex receiver would require a good amount of maintenance if one were to take it out on extended field outings. It looks lightweight, sturdy, and accurate based on your video. I'd like to know if you think this weapon will be fielded in Special Weapons and Tactics for counter-terrorist/criminal ops any time soon. Seems as if it'd be preferable to an HK UMP .45 in police operations.

  • @Vaskadar I've put over 500 rounds through it without cleaning it, and when I have cleaned it I've not done anything more than wipe it down quickly with some oil. There's nothing complex about the internals of the gun, it's actually super simple. I have no insight into what LEO's and SpecOps might adopt, but in my view it's certainly a worthy alternative to the UMP (which I'm not a fan of).

  • the combo of the Kriss and a glock 21/ glock 30 i believe would be the ultimate zombie apocalypse combo

  • Jizz in my pants

  • I really like this Kriss!!! Are you going to get a can for this bad boy in the future? That would make this setup ideal for home defense no need to worry about blowing out your ears in the middle of the night with a good suppressor!!

  • @LDMoss21 I would like to see how it handles sand and mud.

  • Isn't that a VECTOR?

  • @Humberto4790

Correct. The actual gun is the TDI Vector, while the action is the Kriss Super V.

  • Kriss Super V+G21 or Marlin Camp Carbine+1911.. decisions, decisions..

  • your french has been pardoned

  • for some reason...I find it strange referring to it as a rifle

  • @juki009 why? legally in the usa it is an SBR

  • Thanx for the awsome reveiw!!!!

  • The first time I saw this carbine was on Future Weapons. I think the best market for this guy is SRT's, SWAT, HRT's and Special Forces. However I think that the SMG days are about numbered. PDW's are the new compact carbines for the future. MP7A1, P90, LWRC's PSD, etc.. I think that the SMG's can still have a law enforcement role. A thing called collateral damage is the thing I have in mind and the reason why this would be best for that role.

  • Is that a vacuum cleaner or a laser rifle. Can't tell. Does it talk or do your taxes or something? Where's the keyboard?

    Oh, it's a gun!!!

  • Sounds like the Super V's action is akin to an inverted Luger toggle system.

  • @LDMoss21

I did post a video about registering a SBR. Check my older videos (couple of months old). Thanks for watching.

  • How's the trigger pull Sturmgewehre?

  • @stnls1911

It's very light, a bit spongy but light. The pull is short and the reset is short. Not bad, all things considered. It's not a match trigger, but certainly quite usable and lends itself to rapid fire.

  • how do you afford all your firearms?

  • @thehammerglock17

    I can't afford them. :)

  • At 0:45 in, MUZZLE! You put your hand right in front of the gun!

  • @blamdude2121

No I didn't, my hand was well behind the muzzle, but given the camera angle it appears to be in front of it.

  • @blamdude2121 Who gives a shit. He didnt have his finger on the trigger...and it wasnt YOUR hand

  • 31 round magazines for the glock is common.

  • Are there CA versions? I doubt it but just curious...

  • @RugerFanRyan

I don't believe so. That's not to say they won't try to make one, but I'm not all that well versed on California firearms laws. I do know they are pretty aggressive in their marketing right now and they're bringing new models to market with more planned in the near future. Perhaps a CA model is in the works.

  • One of your best reviews yet. Excellent job, great information. I too am a big fan of the Evil Roy. My favorite portable target.

  • FYI...TDI MagEx made by Magpul.

  • Awesome, but ugly

  • Hahaha, you just had to post this didn't you? I'm gonna have to delay studying for another 15 minutes to watch this. Great reviews, always.

  • Does it come with a magazine from the manufacturer? Also have you heard if it's been adopted by any Law Enforcement or military units (guess it would require full auto capacity for military)?

  • @NovaScotiaNewfie

Mine came with one 30 round magazine. I don't know if any military or LEO units have adopted them, but I do know they are actively seeking such contracts. As far as a SMG goes, it's pretty impressive given the light recoil impulse with the .45 ACP cartridge. They do have .40 S&W and 9mm versions planned, which should be even more impressive.

  • HK USC is worst recoil 45ACP I ever shot

  • @sniper4usmc

I agree, they are pretty bad. I was surprised just how much recoil they did have... it's no wonder the MP5 is still the king of the SMG world, the UMP was a step backwards IMHO.
