your parrents dont want a boston terrier because i hear that they're very hyper dogs. i mean REALLY hyper. my cousin has one and he's hyper (but adorable!). try thinking of another dog (or cat) and maybe your parents will let u have it! =]]=]] hope this helps! =]]=]]

I'm sorry to hear about your kitty. I've got 2 cats so I understand how you must have cared about her. Maybe you can explain that Bostons are great watch dogs, and excellent companions. Explain that you will take full responsibility (and MEAN it), and having the dog is great exercise (mentally and physically). The Boston Terrier has a wonderful reputation, and would be a great inside pet, just as your cat was for so many years. They also have a long life span. Best of luck!!!

Amish are notorious for puppy mills, check it out online. those nice god fearing people lock those poor dogs in small metal cages their entire lives. no human touch or inter action. always research and know where you puppy really came from. don't mean to preach not my style, unless it comes things like animal cruelty.

At what age does there ears start to stick up?

they normally start to stick about around 5 to 6 months. however there are some bt's that will always have puppy ears! if you're pup is over a year and their ears are still droopy... that's how they will stay.

I'm just noticing that people have a lot of this breed. One neighbor has a puppy Boston Terrier, and it's the cutest thing in the world. I favor lil' fluffy pups, but these have grown on me.

Totally agree! Their personality is active without being nervous nor overwhelming. They love to give you puppy kisses. And, bless their hearts, they have some issues with getting over-excited at times and not being able to breathe right. Just wonderful dogs!
