The whole phrase "internet meme" is nonsense. A meme is a cultural artifact passed on in a similar manner as a genetic artifact. So you can't really have an internet meme until you've had two or three generations of... internet? Granted we are on "internet 2.0" but that would make the memes of the internet things like bulletin boards.
