  • La fin du film fait-elle explicitement référence à Conte d'été de Eric Rohmer ? Le même acteur, qui mange une glace, au bord de la mer, filmé de façon assez similaire. Mais je préfère le film de Rohmer.

  • Someday I hope I will be carried to that place...

  • J'ai pensé à la Mort en Venice, Death in Venice...

  • quelle est le nom de la music?

    :)

    please

  • un film qui vous donne des frissons du début à la dernière minute. J'en ai pleuré durant des heures.

    Hugo

  • To me this was one of the most haunting scenes of the movie. I do believe that death is not a very bad thing... but seeing him lifeless, and unnoticed/uncared for, going into the darkness of the night really made me sad. Especially since he had quite a few unfufilled desires when he died.

  • This theme tune you heard in this clip, I believe, is called Postludium composed by Valentin Silvestrov!

  • Mmmm...you can't get any more artistic and sublime ending than that!

  • The director here captures that the death doesn't have to be ugly but rather serene and sublime. The beautiful music is by Arvo Part. Part's music was also used as a theme song in Emma Thompson's film "Wit".

  • The moral of the story in both films - We die alone!
