the reason why isbecause they're Delta Force. They're supposed to blend in overseas as civillians. If u see the SFs in Afghanistan and Iraq, they grow huge beards and have long hair to blend in. If you're in a high and tight or have a shaved head, you stick out like a sore thumb. The same way cops go undercover, you can't look like a cop or you're dead!!!! Delta Force are specialized tactics and training, Rangers are light infantry. Their command structure is diffrent from Delta.
