How is her decision to not say it at an even unpatriotic? She does her patriotic duty every damn day teaching our kids. What a sad indictment of the US this 'conversation' is. From an outsiders point of view, it's really quite scary. Now, I'm sure I'll be told that "I don't have the right to comment", but here goes anyway. Debate is healthy after all, and it's all a little one-sided at the moment.

There was no planned Pledge, and the lady was simply sticking to the agenda set by the students. She was upset, because she felt she hadn't been shown respect by the audience, and wasn't dissing the pledge.
