hi everyone, heres an example the eternal fight between david and golliat, in these case the people from the heritage still making guitars in artisan way , these are trully carefully with finish and handcraft. not to mention the extraordinary final quality, heritage guitars are not for everyone but people how had been buy it never finish with a gibson... and thats a fact
This is a better guitar . Heritage gives you more ..more quality. H150 is more guitar for your money! Ephipones are excluded not even in the same ballpark. Im talking about gibson les paul vs heritage h150. Try one and you will agree.
@tatgren No legend...simply a fact. It's true, some of the remaining stock that Gibson had at the old Parsons St. plant was included in the sale of the facility. However, the underlying thing here is that Heritage guitars are built by a lot of the (former)Gibson employees that chose NOT to relocate to Tennessee....so of COURSE the Heritage guitars are going to sound like Gibsons....save for a name change and headstock design, they ARE one&the same.
According to legend, when the factory was sold, the deal included stock of old guitar parts, some dating back to the 1950's. The first Heritage guitars built in the early 1980's were made from the leftover parts and paterns. This guitar sounds like a 1958-1960 Les Paul for a reason!
It's not a copy, it's the REAL Les Paul. The Les Paul that made the Gibson the company they are today.

I've been buying and selling guitars for 25 years. I stand by what I say - it's a copy. In other words it is supposed to be LIKE a Les Paul.
Les Paul, LP, etc are trademarks of Gibson, not Heritage. Heritage does not even call these LP's.
Even that they are made by ex Gibson employees in the old Gibson plant. they are not the same thing.
