great job i liked it, im playing this as a solo piece in my orchestra, but i like taking the 3rd movement slower like around 108 or so, i feel like i can do more with then runs then, but still great job impressive

you play an armstrong right, i play one too. Beautiful sound. you have to work harder with the low tunes. I play piccolo in hmkg in norway, playing 9-10 hour a day.

You have a good start on this concerto. My feeling is that the sound can be a lot fuller and that the tempo is WAY too fast, especially in the third movement as it could be a lot cleaner.

In the second movement, you really should take your time, non-harmonic notes, and work on embellishing the piece to give it some sparkle. I always picture watching the night sky with that movement as it's so relaxing.

Keep working on it, pull back the tempo, and have fun with it.

I'm too used to the wooden mouthpiece, and I find that wooden mouthpiece produces better tone... I cant play the metal mouthpiece for nuts!!

Vivaldi. This concert has 3 movements:

Allegro

Largo

Allegro

dethsix plays the two last movements

Largo (the slow one you like) and

Allegro (fast)

The piece is in C major.

Actually I'd much rather the Youtube audience hear the REAL playing, rather than treated sound that we usually hear on CDs, which I know sound...nice, but sometimes doesn't really reflect what really transpires.

I can't send you the accompaniment...because it's stuck in my Smartmusic program which doesn't allow for it to be taken out...

you know that piccolo's sound is really high and somewhat edgy, so the untreated record maybe sounds a little uncomfort... even thouge in concert~

iv played 2 mov and i think you could play more freely some places, "a piacere"~

and slow down this largo, you'll have more space to solo~

Amazing!!! I was Self Taught at the Piccolo for on eyear. I've since then taught myself the Flute due to my inability to play the higher registers. Do you have any tips? I want to retake the Piccolo. How long does it take to be able to play this well, and play this high?

good intonation, technically very good, but the 3rd movement is too fast...if you do it a little slower, you could get the technical parts perfect and more expressive, but in general, really good playing!
