  • love the music

  • haha! this video was so nice! love it. Are you a film student?

  • Haha, this video surprised me! I laughed..:) It was very effective following the project terms; I hope you got a good grade on it!

  • Wow, I loved the camera angles in this video!

I'm helping my boyfriend with his video project for his English class! Wish I had thought of some better camera angling ideas!

  • i liked this =)

  • i love it. what an odd guy :S lol

  • nicely done, I can tell you put some thought into this.

  • This is class Adam. I love the mixture of music to the film it suits it really well.

    Brilliant.

  • Good Work! My thoughts, for what they are worth. About 30 secs in, the scene with the graves close up, he should've walked across the back, rather than right upon the camera.

The onions was funny, but didn't help me get to know him!

Why did he leave all the stuff there? That is just littering!!

I liked the diary, and the wave to the statue!

  • We initially had a line that explained his leaving it there but when we cut dialogue in general we kept it in as a timesaver and maybe an implication that he plans to come back soon.

    Thanks for the input!

  • This is brilliant Adam. My favourite so far. Thank you so much for sharing what you have been up to.

I think the shots are great and the music fits perfectly.

    Thanks for the laugh -Debbie

  • I'm so glad you liked it!

I plan to make more videos as time allows. And the quality (due to compression) is crappy but this is my first project shot on my awesome new camera so future projects will be compressed at, and will show, a higher visual quality I hope.

  • mmm hmmm you got some good taste!! You got some Rattattat going on up on this bitch!! Nice to see you on here!

Don't see you very often anymore huh? Busybody?!

  • Yeah, sorry.

I've just been really busy and drained for ideas.

  • Loved it! Where did you get your background music?

  • I got them from my itunes. I was trying to find music that fit the mood well. Thanks for watching!

  • I loved it, both visually and in an I'd-watch-this-movie way. Also, hehehe Gaunt. Nice touch.

  • Yaay!

  • this was great! and quirky, which I love. I loved how you framed all the shots as well. good job :)

  • I'm sure Mary Gaunt had a great time making this film with you.

  • Of course you found a tombstone with "Gaunt" as the last name, you Harry Potter loser freak.

    I miss you.

  • Hahaha I swear that was a coincidence!

    <3

  • I thought it was different than most ways a character is introduced. I loved the idea. I think it's good for a class.

  • I (and we) really enjoyed this! Would definitely watch a feature film about this character.

  • Thanks!

    I miss you guys!

  • I will applaud your film camera techniques and editing .... You put together a fine clip. That took some study and experience.

    BUT

Is a random viewer going to be drawn into this story seed and want to watch MORE of this weird (maybe a little creepy) character? I don't think so .... Especially if I had to pay $8 to do so ....

    But good job ....

  • Thanks for being honest. I'm glad you liked the technique even if you didn't like the character :]

  • I'm a "random viewer" and I was intrigued. I want to know who the character is and why he does what he does. Call me a twisted individual, but I liked it :P

Also, what was/were the song(s)? I really liked it/them! (couldn't tell if it was the same one or not haha)

  • this is pretty cool aha.

could you possibly send me the song titles? they were great.

    thanks!

  • sure thing!

  • I like this! great concept. the angle at 0:25-0:34 is really nice.

  • i feel like you were mainly trying to tell us about the character through the music rather than the shots. that might have been the intention, but maybe you should focus on the importance of each visual shot. i know it isn't common with life action, but i think you should try storyboarding your scene more

  • I think that just means (at the very least for you) that I was unsuccessful. Because half the shots were storyboarded and almost all of them had some psychological/emotional significance (i.e. pushing the character off into the corner, triumphant low angle at the end; distant, detatched shots at the beginning, etc.)

So if they didn't feel planned then that's just me being unsuccessful at framing the shots the best way.

    I appreciate the input!

  • oh now i feel bad D=

  • Don't worry about it! I'd rather have an honest opinion. And I didn't take offense to it.

    :]

  • That was pretty rad I'd say.

  • Haha! I really love this. It reminds me of something my friend Jordan and I would do. Excuse me while I send it to her.

  • Glad to have your (and Jordan's) approval!

  • i liked it!

are you pursuing film or just taking this class for fun?

  • I wanna be a director. Though this isn't my best work, I'm pretty proud for the circumstances.

    Thanks for watching

  • Rafiq! :D

  • What a great concept. Wish I had thought of that.

  • Hahaha! Hilarious. Loved it. =)

  • I like this but Eva isn't pushing me off a cliff, so it isn't quite "classic" yet.

  • This was really good! :)

  • thanks!

  • cool... really! and the music fits! perhaps some close-ups would have made it even better...

  • That's probably a good point.

    Thanks!

  • That was great, awesome concept, and well-executed.

  • Thank you, sir

  • Really cool concept. I wasn't really expecting it to go that way, so awesome. Thought the onion bit was humorous. Well done, Adam!

    -Chris

  • I'm glad you liked it!

And glad to see you all didn't abandon me in my extra long absence :]
