The idea of these tires is that when placed on vehuicle carrying ViPs if that vehicle is ever attacked. Small piecees of debris that would normally render tires flat has no effect allowing the vehicle to escape. Its the same principal as the orginal run flat just using new materials to do the same job. obviously they will not stop spike strips or large punctures, bullets etc. every sytem has a weakness.

a spike strip will still flatten a tire even with this. When a cop deploys a spike strip, the hollow spike stays in the tire allowing air to escape through the spike. I dont think the gel would be able to stop that.

I was at the dump one day and narrowly missed runing over a sharp hole-saw.

So, hole saws are lethal as they may take a hole segment from the tire casing.

And no, unfortunately, a tank could not survive this nail test.

Only a 70 000 ton Toyota could.
