Well I do sometimes wash my face a night before bed to, But it kinda depends on what I have been doing during the day, In the night time I only wash my face with the Shiseido face wash for men, and use the toner and then the night cream.
Nice video. The skin care routine well explained. I am a licensed aesthetician but I noticed you drag the skin when applying moisturizer. You are not suppossed to do that. Did you k now that Mac's products can actually worsen your acne and clog pores since they're foundation are meant for the theater? Not even the people that work for Mac wear their foundartion. I wear something that is noncomedogenic because it does not clog the pores. Its just my personal opinion.
I am no professional, I still learn every day, but I know that all foundations in general can clog pores and be bad for your skin, But I use a very small amount of foundation and the foundation is not liquid witch helps when it comes to clogged pores, Thank you so much for commenting though I really Appreciate it...

LOL i use the shiseido lotion too but for the purpose of dry skin in the winter. Its really light so it doesn't cause pimps on my face. I hate the cream lotions, its like rubbing grease.
In this video I did it that way around because thats what the products say, but I always exfoliate first then soap wash after, for me it makes more sense, Get rid of the dead and loose skin and then wash the skin...
Great video! Thanks for sharing! I prefer to cleanse and exfoliate in the shower, where it's nice and steamy, to really help the process. Of the products available at MAC, you're using the ones best suited for us fellas, I think. The stick foundation is great, and the blot powder is nearly colorless, sets the foundation and absorbs that shiny look throughout the day. Also, the browset is awesome! Try it in other shades, too...the colored ones provide a great POP! around the eye area!

It is so hard to help in your situation, beacuse I can not see what it looks like, and I am not a specialist, But it could sound like maybe you are over producting your skin, if you can then try not to use any products on your skin at all and dont shave, if you can then leave your skin alone for 3 weeks, I mean water in the shower is fine, but no products or shaving for 3 weeks.

Aveda tinted moisturizer is the best and it looks very natural. All the people who work at mac have awful skin and look much older than they usually are. Use Organic plant and flower based products which you usually wont find at a drugstore, the ones there are usually petroleum based and filled with crap.

Well there is no age limit on makeup, I mean if you feel that you need it at the age of 15 because of blemish attacks then go for, I would suggest that you ask your parents first.
But Foundation has nothing in it that is "bad" for a 15 year old guy.

Ken, I like you video. I was laughing when you were trying to get the right word for your "Eyelash" it was cute though. English is not my first language and I am still learning. I also care about my skin, I use clinique anti blamish and it works with me. I mean, it does help to minimise the breakouts, and when I have new breakout, I use the blemish gel on Zits, it worked. I can't afford any products other than clinique, anyway, clinique is already the brand that I consider "expensive"
Remember its not really about what brand you use, its about how you use it, just wash your face and mouisturize every day, plus remember to protect your skin from the sun.
So I have pretty clear skin (just a few zits on my nose) but in the morning when i put on my foundation it looks good but then threw out the day my nose gets greasy and my foundation starts to wear off around my nose and cheeks.
Ive tried to dry out the skin on my nose and that didnt do anything.
What you nede is something called a Blot powder, you put in on your nose and it dosent color but only upsorbes all the fat from your nose, it will take away the shine...

I have come out of the gel and hairspray stage from my teenage years like 10 years ago. Now I'm using water or moose but lately my scalp has become very sensitive to styling products so I'm thinking of trying Aveda sculpting clay which they say is all natural.
We do a different kind of slapping on the face. But why not use eye creams? They said you can also use your face creams or lotions into your eyes as long as it has no salicylic acid.
My favorite product range is from POND'S flawless white™. It reduces dark spots and lightens skin in just 7 days!
ps - we koreans do the face slapping thing too after applying lotion, etc..and i could never tell whether it was a myth or not. but so many older asian ladies have such great looking skin, so maybe it really does work! ^_^

I wouldn't recomend that foundation for men skin, I think it is too oily and heavy. Face and Body foundation is much better.

In this video I did it that way around because thats what the products say, but I always exfoliate first then soap wash after, for me it makes more sense, Get rid of the dead and loose skin and then wash the skin...

Great video! Thanks for sharing! I prefer to cleanse and exfoliate in the shower, where it's nice and steamy, to really help the process. Of the products available at MAC, you're using the ones best suited for us fellas, I think. The stick foundation is great, and the blot powder is nearly colorless, sets the foundation and absorbs that shiny look throughout the day. Also, the browset is awesome! Try it in other shades, too...the colored ones provide a great POP! around the eye area!

Oh I forgot to ask, is Kanebo a good japanese brand. I'm in the process of trying to find my asian HG skincare line that works for numerous of things like wrinkles, texture, even skin tone etc. So far I've tried shiseido and sulwhasoo and they both worked ok only. I want to try the shu uemura phyto anti wrinkle line, I heard the creams are great. Is Kanebo better?

It is so hard to help in your situation, beacuse I can not see what it looks like, and I am not a specialist, But it could sound like maybe you are over producting your skin, if you can then try not to use any products on your skin at all and dont shave, if you can then leave your skin alone for 3 weeks, I mean water in the shower is fine, but no products or shaving for 3 weeks.

Hi there, the exfoliator I use in this video is Qlinique Exfoliating visage, Visage meaning Face...So this is a face scrub, dont ever use Body scrubs on your face, they are to rough...

Aveda tinted moisturizer is the best and it looks very natural. All the people who work at mac have awful skin and look much older than they usually are. Use Organic plant and flower based products which you usually wont find at a drugstore, the ones there are usually petroleum based and filled with crap.

At what age do you think men should start to apply foundation, I was just recently searching about this and I thought it might be a good idea but im not sure if im old enough yet, Im turning 15 soon, so yes, I am kind of young. (haha kind of)

Well there is no age limit on makeup, I mean if you feel that you need it at the age of 15 because of blemish attacks then go for, I would suggest that you ask your parents first.
But Foundation has nothing in it that is "bad" for a 15 year old guy.

and if you get that stuff in your eyes will it burn cuz i used one of those but for woman my eye got so red and puffy! it stung for 4 weeks! so everyone watch out if it gets in your eyes wash it out immediately! thank you!!!!

Ken, I like you video. I was laughing when you were trying to get the right word for your "Eyelash" it was cute though. English is not my first language and I am still learning. I also care about my skin, I use clinique anti blamish and it works with me. I mean, it does help to minimise the breakouts, and when I have new breakout, I use the blemish gel on Zits, it worked. I can't afford any products other than clinique, anyway, clinique is already the brand that I consider "expensive"

So I have pretty clear skin (just a few zits on my nose) but in the morning when i put on my foundation it looks good but then threw out the day my nose gets greasy and my foundation starts to wear off around my nose and cheeks.
Ive tried to dry out the skin on my nose and that didnt do anything.

What you nede is something called a Blot powder, you put in on your nose and it dosent color but only upsorbes all the fat from your nose, it will take away the shine...

Thanks for the video I have been putting on light makeup and foundation from the 70's when makeup for men was not cool. Just to even out small blemishes and such. Personally I think men should have a skincare routine and we like to look handsome also. I'm older now but some people tell me my skin still looks good. I have to say you have a handsome face as soon as I saw it I knew you were Hapa. I too am Hapa in Hawaii there are many guys like us. Enjoy your video.

hello Ken, another wonderful video showing how to groom ourselves (men). I was wondering if you can make a video that shows how to take better care of your hair.
I have come out of the gel and hairspray stage from my teenage years like 10 years ago. Now I'm using water or moose but lately my scalp has become very sensitive to styling products so I'm thinking of trying Aveda sculpting clay which they say is all natural.

We do a different kind of slapping on the face. But why not use eye creams? They said you can also use your face creams or lotions into your eyes as long as it has no salicylic acid.

ps - we koreans do the face slapping thing too after applying lotion, etc..and i could never tell whether it was a myth or not. but so many older asian ladies have such great looking skin, so maybe it really does work! ^_^

Hi, Well when I worked as beauty adviser in the airport, yes I had to wear a bit every day, but now I usualy only wear makeup when I go out or something like that.
I do wash my face with cleanser and use tonic every day, the skin exfoliater I only use ones a week..
