  • What does the Mosconi cup have against a soft break?

    I really like the Mosconi cup format but the break rule makes little sense to me.

  • three balls must get above the "headstring". Ie the balk line. The line from where you break. Potted balls are inlcluded in the equation. So 3 balls (or 2 and one potted) must come back up the table toward where the player is breaking from. Hope this helps.
