  • Who is conducting this? Which year?

  • American dad ep

"Yeah! lik in the movies, bitch!"

  • living in a free society does not mean you are free from want or need but how in that free society the want or need inspires you to overcome and freely choose your own path. that being said in the U.S. a free education is not free. The so called free education is very costly to the taxpayer and the ones who eventually pay back the loans to advance their education as well as the military members who serve to pay for theirs in ways an average student will never understand.

  • @distguy55 Wow! Yes! This is so very true, thank you for sharing; very inspiring.

  • It's good to escape the 21st century. Especially the music.

  • Asian ftw

  • absolutely BEAUTIFULLY!! :-D

  • @teniootti and also, education measured based on a 15 year old "compulsory" schooling level. It's easy to get a bunch of farm children to learn their ABCs, but it's what happens after that that's important (basically, comparing 15 year olds in spotless Finland to 15 year olds in inner-city Detroit is like comparing apples and oranges. Densely populated western cities such as Paris and London did worse on your PISA than sparse metro areas in the cold regions. It's not a European thing.)

  • @Alexisthecrowing *education shouldn't be measured...

  • @teniootti I wouldn't be so sure about that. If you look at the top 10 universities in the world, more than 50% are in the US (on multiple rankings,) and among those, our Ivy Leagues tend to give out the most financial aid. I've been in free New York City public schools my entire life and am going to school/dorming for free at the Macaulay Honors College of CUNY (also top ranking.) I would say that, here, it's really a matter of what you make of your own education.

  • 1:00 - Mitsuko dies from gunshot wounds by the hands of Kiriyama. Oh its such a lovely scene.

  • i heard this on American Dad and ever since then i been wondering...how has this song managed to escape from me over time. However now that i have it i feel alot better.

  • I love this ballad. I think of an asteroid hitting The Earth & destroying it when I hear this ending humanity on this planet in a sad, epic, & memorable aftermath.

  • @MrDNK1981 Well If humanity is ended as you say, then it wouldn't be very memorable; because everyone is dead. Oh well never mind me...

  • I love this ballad. I think of an asteroid hitting The Earth & destroying it when hear this ending humanity on this planet in a sad, epic, & memorable aftermath.

  • I'm trying to figure out how such beauty came about amidst the barbarous acts of our age?

    /

  • Gracias, me gusta muchííísimo tu video. las imágenes son muy hermosas y la música sublime, como lo es toda la de Johann Sebastian Bach.

  • Dont be so sensitive and ashamed Americans. Gershwin is up there too.

You have many great unappreciated, underrated talents. And it cant be easy nurturing genius on a higher ground, when massacres and exploitation are a few of the ony things to draw upon for inspiration.

  • @worldcoup

Are you a Jew trying to racistly support your own ethnic group?

  • @worldcoup not to mention Jazz, which is purely American and really changed music

  • pictures scroll too quick!! apart from that a lovely piece. thanks for posting.

  • one word. beautiful.

  • This is so beautiful that it has the power to touch anyone's soul. I'm crying before such beauty.

  • This video makes me feel insignificant. And it brings me peace.

  • Makes you appreciate what this life is really about and whats important.

  • Today's gonna be a good day.

  • Thanks Bach... I wish I had half the talents you had

  • @yungprodigy16 Yeah, he is totally gonna read this...

  • @yungprodigy16 yes...it's amazing what he's done...

  • odd

  • 2:06 anyone know where that is?

  • Finally i found it!

  • Classical Music has always, in my eyes, been one of the greatest collaborative human efforts still acknowledged and performed today. Orchestras across the world know and play such wonderful melodies as teams of many. There's no fuss, there's noone taking charge, just everyone playing their part. Glorious.

  • it makes me cry... unbelievable

  • I've played this piece before with a very large orchestra and to hear it on that scale is one of the most breath taking feelings in the world. I have chills for the duration of the song. It's one of the most gorgeous pieces of music I've ever heard.

  • Las transiciones deben ir más despacio.

  • Meu Deus... Que música maravilhosa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    A tempos vinha procurando.

  • Advertising should be extirminated, how can you put such a stupid thing which will last a few weeks, in front of a piece of music which has last over 300 years, and will last for over a million.

Excuse me for my english, I still have some difficulties with pronouncing sentences right.

  • I am a Christian. However some who are non Christians can make great contributions to the world we live in. Believer or not, Bach wrote one fine piece here.

  • It's a shame that increasingly fewer people know how to appreciate this music

  • the photo at 0:10 is really creepy! it looks like a body or skeleton....

    gotta love the music tho

  • @AangShinobi yeaaah it's true I can see it! A flying skeleton lol

True words, if ever I heard them :D

  • @saadshaheed between my thighs

  • when I listen this I imagine all the sorrow and greatness of the old ages.

    bach is simply amazing

  • I don't want to sound stupid, considering I'm not particularly knowledgeable in classical music, but is this air on a g string?

  • @EtherJunky it's okay to ask... the last thing people must do, especially those inclined in classical music, is to ostracize people who don't know about classical music.

  • @EtherJunky

Not a stupid question, goodness! :)

"Air on a G string" was the name given to a later *arrangement* of this piece for violin and piano. Bach would not have called it that. So this is not "Air on a G string," but it has the same melody. Compare watch?v=2rpifOVKsug

  • Us Americans have a taste for music. You have to dig through a mile of garbage to get to us though.

  • @ShadowGunner82 what? dude look at the 20's 30's and 40's Jazz was such a amazing music and in ways better than this stuff, and Jazz is purely a American creation and one of the most talented music, than look at the 50s with rock and roll, it was very talented in the 50s and early 60s.

  • @RoninAvenger I don't agree with saying that it is better.Talented ? Yes it is.I love jazz, but this is just pure Classic, and the music that gave birth to human love towards music.

  • @RoninAvenger Doesn't understand peoples attitude towards classic music like this. Every age had it's ground breaking and world shaping genre except for anything recent from 2000 on. This was the music they had before there were any sort of recording devices to make it readily available in peoples homes and it was and still is very popular. Jazz may be amazing music but most every musician I've heard of studies the classics. Being America created doesn't automatically make it better.

  • @Skymouth Im not saying because it was made in America that it is amazing.

Im saying Jazz is amazing as a music itself

  • @RoninAvenger

Gee, you are so uneducated. It is very sad and you dont just realized it.

where do you come from ? USA, of course.

    Come on. I

Bach, Mozart and Beethoven and all these german musicians are the summum of humanity and philosophy, and the link that unites all of us, we human beings and all the life on earth.

their spirituality is so deep. their musicality is so beautiful.

Not a single human cannot be moved and disturbed when hearing it.

    Domenico Stazzi

  • @mrktyb That was a bit dramatic..

Have you ever listened to Bix Biederbeck or Louis Armstrong or Artie Shaw? Or any Jazz musician from the 20's to 50's? You are sounding like a old man in the 1920's saying "Jazz is evil and trash" If you ask me Big band and swing or dixieland jazz reaches into my soul much deeper than classical ever could. So yes Im from the USA, where Jazz was made. Don't assume everything that is from America is stupid. You'd be surprised if you left Mozarts house for awhile

  • @mrktyb Why do Europeans think they're the shit? Also, the US education system is one of the best in the world.

  • @Alexisthecrowing

Well... Actually it's not. Above average though, at least if your parents can afford to pay you to a decent school. In most european countries studying is virtually costless to almost all students, even foreign. Google PISA (Programme for International Student Assesment).

  • Nice video for this beautiful piece of classic music. I fell in love with this melody as a child [I remember me searching for this particular piece from Bach in CD stores, when I was in my teens. YouTube made it so much easier for us now;)]

  • why the cheezy pics of the planets?

  • /tears are welling in my eyes already! Beautiful music!

  • Ah....excuse me Ivailap...you've been watching too many movies...we Americans do not use Classical Music only as wedding backgrounds...but, if you choose to believe something like that then you really have been watching too many reality shows (which are faked) and movies...I mean Really!

  • This is real music!

  • Bach... me alegra en mis momentos de congoja

  • Just Beautiful and so elegant.

  • Bach is my favorite composer. Something about his music.....

  • É maravilhoso saber que um genial desses é eternamente atual...

  • Beautiful! Hard to use any other adjective. It just takes your breath away. I love it!

  • AMAZING job on the vid

its like perfect for the song

  • i remember hearing this song in the movie se7en when morgan freeman is in the library

  • This music has been played so often...

It is a real masterpiece of a genius.

    But

A thing of beauty should be handled with gentle care, but most of all: not to often

  • Nádhera !!!

  • BEAUTIFUL thanks

  • “The aim and final end of all music should be none other than the glory of God and the refreshment of the soul.” - J.S. Bach

  • Très belle interprétation de cette magnifique pièce musicale, de celle qui nous emporte vers les hauteurs !
