I like it! The Death In June version is a kind of twisted cover/re-interpretation as well.

"He's Disabled", "The Mourner's Bench", "Because of Him", and "Little Black Angel" are covers/re-interpretations of songs from Jim Jones' People's Temple Choir 1973 gospel album He's Able. The original songs were "He's Able", "Something's Got a Hold of Me", "Because of Him", and "Black Baby", respectively"

too many people focus on lyrics. the music is amazing! this song is gonna make me happy for years to come. I could care less what the song is about. Even when I listen to Helen, I listen to key, tone, melody and harmony before I pay attention to lyrics. after a hundred listens, i pick up the words. smile, enjoy the song! @dubmaverick69 I'm quite certain they did... You have to go through a bunch of red-tape to acquire licensing rights when doing a remix or cover on a commercial release... Red tape that requires the bands management to contact the original copyright owners of the original song (Boyd Rice and his label)... I'm sure Mr. Rice was more than happy to let them release the cover and perhaps even flattered as he has quite an eclectic taste in music...
