  • I feel so ooooold...... and sad..... I want to be back in the 90's. Where are you Doc Brown!?!?!

  • Fast And Furious

  • even bought the full version of this game at one point, which was lost in the meantime unfortunately

  • Tää on se paras versio, ennen kuin peli pilattiin. Mutta mikäs se versionumero onkaan? 1.29d?

  • @Peccath Sorry i don't speak finnish. But if you're asking why i didn't use the 1.29d, it's because i was playing the version that i was playing as a kid in 90's! ^_^

  • @Napostriouf Actually I was asking what version you're playing and is that 1.29d or what? :) Anyway, I already googled the solution for my problem; 1.30 sucked ass and 1.29d (or 1.286) were the best :)

  • @Peccath Oh sorry, so i'm not sure which version that i was using, it's still somewhere in my backup! ^_^

  • @Peccath what is the difference between 1.30 and 1.29dlol

  • A golden finnish hidden reasure. Loads of fun. I would suggest this game for everyone.

  • Turbo Sliders ripped this idea off?

  • @couvepodre Didn't know about Turbo Sliders but as i see in Video, yes seems like Turbo Sliders 2003 plagied theese games.

  • @Napostriouf oh, that's the word I was looking for. Plagied. Well, I knew turbo sliders before this one.

  • I remember a track called "groovy" or something; that track was my favorite and the track time was unbelievably hard to beat after it was clocked with 5 game hours! :D

Btw, any idea why the game lags a lot when using Doxbox? Not smooth like in this video?

  • @Hirvibongari2 Dosbox tends to be quite power greedy. It really depends on your settings and your CPU how well it run.

  • @Hirvibongari2 In fact you must configurate Dosbox cycles higher than the oiriginal 5000 cycles.

  • @Napostriouf , OK , gotta remember that!

  • Hannu & Jukka Räbinä...

it was inly Timo who made it?

    interesting...

  • Yes Timo made Slicks 'n' Slide alone the project lenght however several years of ajustement, but in the final, Timo did a great work...

Hannu & Jukka Räbina are those who developped GeneRally inspired by the game Slicks 'n' Slide and SuperSprint. ^_^

  • looks like GeneRally, GR was inspired in it

  • @RapBR123 Yes authors (Hannu and Jukka Räbinä) of GeneRally developed in 2002 was inspired by this game Slicks 'n' Slide (1993) and SuperSprint (1986).

P.S.: Timo Kauppinen is also a Finnish (Finland) person like Hannu et Jukka Räbinä.

  • ufo+megaspeed=superwin

  • @Gfors85 They're high tech! :D

  • Hehee! Big fun, this one. Show exactly what Finnish guys can make even old computers do. Thanks for all the cool retrogame videos, man!

  • @IdioticTendencies Yes Finnish people know their racing science! We just have to think about Mika Häkkinen (Former World Champion in Formula One) and the great current pilot Kimi Räikkönen. ^.^

  • That dude made many games. This one is one of my favourite with fun gameplay and very good freeform track editor.

  • Heck. Yes. Amazingly fun in multiplayer, especially when fooling about with the various... less useful vehicles.

  • cool
