hey in theory they change every lap. Then the 1st and 3rd lap are the same direction and the 2nd lap are inverse

How do you know what bonuses come with what character if you use two different character's on the same bike? How does it make a difference? Why use funky kong all the time?

actually, many use daisy + mach bike. But regarding the special characters, it is to represent the clan that they are in for clan wars.

the bowser bike isn't really the fastest bike (the torpedo is faster.) so i'd think they'd figure out a way to beat these with the torpedo.

Torpedo is faster, but it sucks at drifting, and it has less mini-turbo, so it goes faster in courses with alot of straightways, and not so mant corners, like Luigi Circuit.

No, they did away with that in Mario Kart Wii by changing the way you get a boost from power sliding. You now have to hold the power slide for a certain amount of time before you get the boost, instead of just getting it as quickly as you can hit the control stick back and forth 3 times like in the older ones.

a while ago the BC record was held with Rosalina on Flame Runner/Bowser Bike, but since Funky is the fastest, it makes the most sense

SNES Mario Circuit 3, N64 DK's Jungle Parkway, and DK Mountain, and most recently GBA Bowser Castle 3 WRs are all done with Daisy and the Mach Bike.

N64 Sherbet Land and GBA Shy Guy Beach WRs are both done with Toadette and the Magikruiser.

well when you go trick. your bike gets up. and cuz he doesnt want to lose air time, and he doesnt need the turbo the trick gives him, since he does a shortcut and the trick is a waste. If there was a long way he would do the trick.

Trickin here is the wrong move because it would take him further than required to perform the super-shortcut that he does right after. He sacrifices the trick to do the super cut! Genius play by the way!
