I was at this show. It's too bad Pete Rivera wasn't there to sing. His voice was Rare Earth. Still, all in all, it was good to listen to some great Rare Earth material. Makes me want to celebrate.

Met The Rare Earth guys a few years ago, after a show. Ray Monette and the keyboard player were great. Gil and the bass player were jerks.

The only original member in this group and video is the guy up front playing the sax.
His name is Gil Bridges. He was also the other lead singer in many of their hits. He also owns the rights to the Rare Earth Name.
I seen Gil and Pete playing together as Rare Earth in So. Fla during the early 80s and toting their own equipment too...No roadies!
