I swear in the name of god. Tonight I just done to jailbreak iPad1 4.3.5 UNTETHERED. After 3 days I try and fail and fail again, I finally succeeded. All I did was jailbreak as usual using redsnow on ipsw 3.4.5. After that I open redsnow again to get into DFU mode, then I open iFaith and run Dump SSH Blobs (for some reason I do that I also do not know). After iFaith run, finally appears an error message saying that the IOS is not detected. But its ok, then i see appple logo, and that's done !

@Ioktech Someone just helped me. So rerun redsn0w and uncheck 'install cydia.' and ONLY check 'just boot teathered right now.' It will fix the safari and cydia not opening problem. I promise. I am currently waiting on more information regarding if I will actually have the teathered jailbreak or not. I will get back to you...

But it for sure fixes the bug and ensures you a jailbreak.

1. gave me a tethered jailbreak

2. fixed cydia and safari

So, I then went to cydia and downloaded the first thing necessary - Winterboard. After, Cydia said reboot device. And I did b/c it is necessary, then it never reboot back up b/c of the tethered jailbreak. GAY. So I ended up reformatting to 4.3.2. and not I am not jailbroken. Sorry I couldn't help you more.

@klmgh2 Ok well i did the same had the same result, but I figured it out. All you have to do when it says Reboot your device. Don't press it go home then open Cydia again and click modify. Then you reinstall it then it will say return to Cydia or Restart SpringBoard. Click that and it will go the the lock screen or back to Cydia. Maybe that will help. I think you can still Jailbreak with the update. So maybe that helps, but I can't get the untethered now (which i'm fine with!). Thanks though!
