@OneMove33 Because it's from the New 2.0 or 2.22 OVA's they talk the main plot of the anime but introduce a few new characters and plot lines so it only slightly repeats the anime, the third and fourth (Final) OVA will be different with the ending being completely different to both the anime and death and rebirth films, as they now have the money to improve it.

@LordSia13 well unless you've seen the series first i suggest you don't watch the movie because the movie is just a brief summary of the tv show and skips out on alot of awesome parts the original name was neon genesis evangelion in 1995 and was pretty BA also there is end of evangelion which was a movie ending the series which you should watch the rebuilds of the anime is evangelion 1.0 , 2.0, and coming out with a 3.0 in 2012 aparently but you should watch the anime first.
