You don`t need to use macros, theres an option on game`s configurations to bind a focus mod (ctrl, shift or alt)... I use macros too cuz its more versatile, but just fyi...

i think you've covered it in another video, what's the frames add ons you use? I really want something to track DR on poly, and give all CC durations on friendly and opposing targets.

There's also an option under interface etc, where you can just use shift to target your focus target with any normal bound attack. So I just use shift to change to focus target as standard. Its mostly annoying against rogues cos whenever they vanish you have to reset focus on the buggers.

hey cartoonz please tell me how do you set your focus target, like im having troubles in arenas when we are switching, for example i switch to my focused target and now the other target is neither targeted nor focused, i have to set the other guy to focus again which can be really confusing sometimes...especially when we are constantly switching...

You have to delete these binds in you keybinds.

you can use the standard /cast [target=focus] spellname, i use this instead since I have different spells on the modifier and standart for ex: r is frost strike, shift r = focus strang, but ofc it differs to person, this is how's comfortable for me :)

Note that if your macro seems to not work with the keybind, try shift mouse clicking it. If it works with the mouse click but not the bind it is because Shift+'your bind' is bound to something through default. Just open the wow keybinds, find it (example Shift+4) and unbind it. Had this problem when I first started using shift mods.

Great video. Here is a better macro, that makes it so that you don't need to use a shift modifier:

/cast [target=focus,exists,harm] Hammer of Justice; Hammer of Justice

This is from my paly, and uses HoJ. Behavior is that if I have a Focus target, it HoJs that target regardless of what I have currently targed (if anything) provided the Focus exists (ie, hasn't died). If there is no focus, then it defaults to normal behavior and HoJs my current target.

I use all those things with mouseover. CS, Deep Freeze, Fire Blast. since you already use the Elemental and Ring of Frost with your mouse, its already in the area. for polymorph the focus it's nice, since its not an instant.

a lot of the time I want to switch polys between the two people we are not trying to kill so I just use click commands on gladius. A bit less efficient, but you have more versatility on who you can poly/cs/impact.

@icykenny1 you can look in your keybinds for the targeting section. Keybind the one labeled "TARGET NEAREST ENEMY PLAYER" and voila ur done! Now if they mirror img, just hit your hotkey and it'll go right to them.
