  • I miss my tube amp...

  • i still dont have an amplifier for my Record player so i do this everytime...

  • @IAmThinkTank Tzitzit? :D

  • "Man, D&D is getting kind of boring..." "Wanna build a record player out of LEGOs?!"

  • IRONMAN FOR THE WIN!

  • nice bracelets dude

  • Well done but the best bit is missing...........the "HUM" from the amp.

    10/10 though.

  • @shirtcreek yeah the hum from a good ole tube amp

  • making that must have been the most frustrating shit in the world, i can imagine moments where they were like: "fuck this! im tired of this pointless shit!" but then in the end it was worth it and "thank god it fucking worked."

  • hahhaah these guys are like those classic geeks, the super skinny tall nerdy guy,

and the chubby long hairded guy

  • My right ear feels left out

  • nerds!!

  • Can u tell me what time it is

  • LEGOS! FUCKIN METAL!!!1!!!111

  • unfortunately it can do nothing about the RIAA CURVE. (google it)

  • Whats up nerds?

  • what is this shite no i have never wanted to make a player out of lego get a life you made something thats been made b4

  • @SteBATW Dude, you clicked on this video.

  • how old is this really

  • OMG has anyone seen "Metalocalypse"? Remember those two nerd scientists trying to taking turns saying every other word in the description of their new pure water analog recording process, or "H.E.A.R.D." (H.ydro-E.lectric R.cordinational D.evice)??! LMAO!! ...........The two nerds opening this video - same thing!!!

  • @pizzacrime This is funny, but I was going to say that they remind me of the two Jomfu Brothers from Metalocalypse, from that episode Fan Day where they try and steal DethKlok's song to put on their website. Give the black haired guy a goatee and a wheelchair and it's them.

  • oh man, I once did something like this for my 5th grade science fair project. However instead of Black Sabbath's "Iron Man", I used "Calling Dr. Love" by KISS.

  • Fucking goth

  • All record players destroy vinyl records. Vinyl records wear out because the needle is always wearing it out. So no one here is being all that smart when they say these guys are wasting the record.

What they are doing is showing how record players ORIGINALLY worked. This is how early record players worked. New players are like electric guitars in relation to acoustic guitars.

  • you take a black sabbath vinyl for this??? You fags, give it to me instead of destroying it!!!

  • what a faggot

  • BOOOOOORING!

  • Neat. All you need to do now is get the RIAA playback curve happening for full range sound.

  • LOVE THIS SONG!!!! W BLACK SABBATH!!!!

  • really cool idea. Good choice using Iron Man just heard Ozzy Sing it In October at VooDoo Fest was great!!

  • 7 days later they shot a school up

  • smoke the weed not the seeds !!!!hahahahwhat where thay thinking??????????and what is on his for arms???

  • not the best quality, but problibly the best your going to get out of a home made record player.

  • If you can't build it out of legos you probably don't need to build it.

  • wow, these guys

  • Nerds!!!!

  • can u make a tut

  • Sabbats are made to play on this kind of "audio" hardware :D

  • iron man

  • Almost good no?

  • looks fake

    it could be background music

  • People are so dumb its not legos its lego

  • @wizzdanbang nerd...

  • what happens if you play this one backwards???

  • @RevWrona your'e house explodes

  • Hi, have you ever wanted to see what it looks like to never get laid? Well, you just did!!

  • @faithycoins Yeah and guess what, in 20 years they will be multimillionares while you are working at a McDonalds, you better start praticing. Say it with me "would you like fries with that?"

  • you should tell these people that you destroy the vinyl record while doing this

  • these kids look like theyre ready to do a columbine

  • u r so celver but emo guy is fat

  • suck

  • awesome!!

  • nice work

  • awesome!

  • Excellent, though I did feel a bit Paranoid. Quite a creative contraption.

  • @peckerwood57 i see what you did there

  • One of the most Punk things Ive ever seen!

  • Guys: all record players work by putting a sharp thing in the grooves. Most decent quality needles are made of diamond. a straight pin isn't going to do shit.

  • fuck the record, destroying records is fun for all

  • You should be put to death for doing that to black sabbath.

  • "Lego" is the brand name. The term "lego" is a colloquial usage of the name to refer to one of a set's pieces. The plural of "lego" is "legos" just like the plural of "band-aid" is "band-aid" (another brand name adopted into common language).

You guys do realize that listening to a record on ANY record player wears it down, right? I doubt a metal pin laying at that angle is doing any more damage than a diamond-tipped needle would do.

  • @787Bisurdaddy plural of lego is legos?? and actually record players vary on how much they wear the album. The finer tunrtables are very well balanced and smooth action and low wow and flutter. This would def. wear the record quicker, but they obviously used a record they don't care about.

  • @mailderrick

"The finer tunrtables are very well balanced and smooth action and low wow and flutter."

That really has absolutely nothing to do with how much a needle will wear down a record. What matters is the material of the needle and the angle that it sits at.

  • @787Bisurdaddy actually ,if you read up on turntables (esp. the real expensive ones) they are expensive for that very reason. The tone arm weight alone is a huge contributing factor on how the record wears. Just like some idiots play elec. records on the old victrola's, but if you study up on it you will find that if you do that you will cause extreme wear on the record (esp. in that case beacuse the design of how the needle tip

  • im sad im 13 and i even know that u just destroyed a master piece i was almost in tears you two fuck tards

  • @DevilsLeprechaun Tears? This is ONE COPY of an album. There's got to be millions of the things out there in Goodwills across the nation in vinyl alone, not to mention CDs and cassettes and maybe the occasional 8-track. Your masterpiece goes into landfills by the truckload. Save one of those if it bothers you so much. Save ALL of them, make it your life quest. Become one of those crazy people they show on the news who can't move around their house because they never throw anything away.

  • @stophim1966 a lil crazy ehhh? i guess we all have that side to us. I just love to music to ever take that stance though.

  • Damn, you guys just destroyed a masterpiece ;-(

  • goddam! i was wincing when I saw that pin touch down >.<

  • Those aren't legos, those are K'nex! GET IT RIGHT.

  • It's Stoned!

  • What a mismatched pair of dudes! What's the one on the right supposed to be?

  • This is lower than low-tech.

  • NIce job guys!

  • good! but lay off the shrooms!

  • you'll screw up your record real quick using an LP disc.

Buy a 78 or two from a second hand shop, THEN try it

  • COOL!!!!!!!!

Im just now finding all these homemade record players here on youtube but one made out of legos is awesome. and you got it playing sabbath!!!

  • wow you guys are fagggs !

  • I strongly fear, from this record will not be left after this playing in the meantime any more much. It might be scratched by the used Metal completely.

  • you look like bobby hill!!

  • its lego. the singular is the plural like sheep. fish etc. not fucking legos.

  • fishes, sheeps, legos

  • This record is destroyed.

  • Great job!!!! It takes some real ingenuity to build something like that from scratch!!!!

  • at one point I thought hell raiser had entered the room!!!!!!

nice work lads and ignore the haters!!!!!

  • Take the metal things off your arm!

    It can scratch the records

  • Very nice machine.

  • two guys who have never and will never get any pussy

  • all of you are right

  • a little creepy looking much?(I mean You look creepy)

  • all you gotta do now is stick a small mic and plug it in an amp and you got yourself a vintage record player :)

  • You should say that this destroys the vinyl record also.

  • @thekingzliar it does not destroy the record, paper is weaker then the material the record is made out of.

  • @markwiebe99 yeah except that it's a pin that contacts the record, not paper, so YES it will destroy records.

  • @thekingzliar not really.... it depends how much pressure is on the record

  • @thekingzliar if its a paper it will not

  • @thekingzliar rename the video "How to destroy perfectly good vinyl"

  • cooool

  • LENNYS

  • totally cool!

  • Ironman came out in around 1970, on the Paranoid album i think, what media do you think it was published on. Cassettes were around (but relatively new) and used for Paranoid, but vinyl was still used up into the 80's and Paranoid was indeed released on vinyl in both the US and UK. If you look around you can still find the vintage releases, though the pictures that came with some are not still there.

  • LOL

  • I bet you think CDs have been around forever eh?

  • are you fucking retarded? honestly, are you a fucking retard?

  • @mercurymay !!!!! FUCK YOU !!!!

  • Hey, that's nothing compared to all the tween girls in my school (9th grade) Who don't know what a record was.

No, I'm not making this shit up.

  • @juicyjuice160 how old are you that you don not think that they didnt have a record of ironman. I loved listening to my records especially IRONMAN

  • you are aware that a good number of bands still produce and successfully sell vinyl records....

  • Yes IT MOST CERTIANLY DID!!!!!-On The LP,"Paranoid" In1970 on Warner-Brothers Records CDs were introduced in1983-84 Iron Man was on vinyl for many years!!

  • D.I.Y is always good but you need to rehearse more

  • haha too high speed! ozzy sounds like a grumpy 4 year old :3

and any needle will generate sound on a record, the cone barely amplifies it ;D

    good job tho!

  • gif me the whatever it is on you´r arms x) *_*

  • BAD ACTORS LOL

  • lol

  • what the hell is that kid wearing on his arms? lol

  • Se cree poderoso por eso lleva eso en los brazos.

Traducilo por que estoy cansado siempre de escribir en Ingles .

    saludos

  • socks

  • something to cool for you to wear

  • i dont know but probably gets him a lot of dick at the gay district

  • BTW, you guys have way too-much time on your hands.

  • Oh God! How could you do that to an original "Paranoid" LP pressing? I bet it sounds A LOT better on an old Dual or Thorens from '71. You probably should have put the microphone right above the horn. That little motor's not holding the speed so well, but it's pretty close to the 33rpm range. At least it doesn't sound like it's on 45 speed. Nice build, you guys. Next time, use a crappy Warrant LP, or maybe something by Poison - something you don't mind damaging.

  • how about you building a lego recorder and doing what you want with it.

They are having fun are you?

  • !!!!! FUCK YOU !!!!-Poison and Warrant RULE!!!!( May I suggest using AMY GRANT records!!!

  • Well someone looks socially repulsive

  • iron man!!

  • u should do paranoid too

  • iron man! finally some sabbath! well done, exatly the right choice of song! :.)

  • how do you make it spin?

  • emo alert.

  • But he stil made a record player out of lego and you wasting your time writing youtube comments... Like me e:D

  • @THEtechknight emo alert? No, not quite...Emo is like Goth for pussies. These guys haven't made it to 'clit level' yet.

  • @THEtechknight douche bag alert

  • @THEtechknight might be a metalhead not an emo get ure facts straight

  • @THEtechknight yeah! like oh my goth :P

  • hahahahaha aolt of effort musta been fun.respect for your ingenuity!

  • This sounds like iron man not paranoid.

  • They mean the record is paranoid. This particular song is iron man, yes.

  • very creative!! i commend you!! i grew up with LEGO TECHNICs, and fully understand their wonderful versatility, say, what record is that?

  • 1st US Pressing of Black Sabbath's Paranoid. Sheesh, you kids these days.

BTW, I agree, the should have at least gotten an 80s tan label pressing

  • That kid looks like he got into a fight with a tackle box, and lost.

  • I'd like to give this a try but is wearing all that bondage gear necessary?

  • WOW, now I can play all my albums in my car

  • guys calm down they aint gonna ruin the record the cone is PAPER it wont mess up the record only a very sharp or hard object like a needle or something would not PAPER

  • You cannot play a record with paper, you need something hard and pointy that acts as a needle. You can actually read it in the info "... in the cone, and the straight pin that rides the record."

Very impressive that they got the tempo right, but I would have taken a less significant record too for this kind of experiment, because it will ruin the record after a short while.

When can we expect a tapedeck guys? :o)

  • yah u can go to how to play a record with out electricity lol

  • there are videos halomaster

  • haha

  • yeh

  • hey man fuck you

it was just a question , no need to be a jackass abhout it oyu douche

  • That's awesome

  • Why is that guy dressed like an idiot?

  • WTF's with your the tall guys arms? Broken?

  • How did you program the motor to go at 33 1/3 haven't use my kit for so long... Grat job there!!

  • Wow, now I've seen everything! You guys obviously love records or you wouldn't have put effort into such a thing. However, unless the record was in pretty bad condition to begin with, I don't know if I could use an ORIGINAL green labeled Warner Brothers copy of Sabbath's "Paranoid" album for an "expierement." And damn, you even got it to play at 33 1/3 RPM. Legos! Incredible guys!

  • is that iron man

    black sabbath paranoid album ?

  • blonde poser bitch stole my pants.

  • need a life

  • ......OMG ITS TOO MANY BRACELETS MAN!!!....haha Kidding

  • when will people finally allow their minds to mature and develop beyond the simple "oh no! he's dressed differently from me! Assimilate!", mind frame.

    This isn't the 1920's anymore...

  • Why did you put tinfoil in the cone, ruined the sound

  • damn, ya'll are sharp....props on this,,,,

  • its not fake it works i tried it.

  • nice

  • woah

  • low sound quality

id get an actual record player :\

  • if you say it's fake, don't just say fake. Explain why you think it's fake

  • freak show needs more hugs i agree, but this is not fake

  • Agree with Bricely.

  • dude stop being like a baby and grow up.... would u say that is jusus wore the kinda stuff (not trying to be offensive srry if u are offended.....)

  • i hope you are not using a pin for a stylus, this will permitally dammag the record

  • cool i like it when people build machines like that or cases for some machines from lego

  • actually a wonderful sound. is this music you have written? the record player looks a little "cheap" (no offense) but record players in the old days were quite well finished, with laquered plinths and the like.

  • Lol I'll have to try this sometime.

  • heavy metel rules since 60's 70's 80's

    90's sometoday

  • Iron man is the best so
