It's not a bad bike to ride. I agree the exhaust is fugly as hel, i think there's a remus can you can get for it that really sorts that problem. This is supposed to be a sports tourer though, so why are the panniers so damn small? And speaking of small, wtf is up with the tank range on this? It needs a bigger tank and better luggage, honda rip you off on the luggage make no mistake. Give it a year and Givi will make some decent luggage for it hopefully. It's also too pricey!!

The .Suzuki V-Strom 650 is far superior in design in this category. For instance, any shaft driven V twin should be transvers mounted in the frame for efficiency, i.e., the drive shaft on the Honda should revolve in the same direction as the engine's crankshaft. Instead, Honda uses an inefficient right angle power converter (like the differential joint on a real wheel drive car) in 2 places on this nt700 Honda. Suzuki's engine itself and final drive is superior in design.

Allot of people don't realize that manufactures have to follow a strict EPA guideline that involve noise and pollution. And these exhausts are the result. Dealerships and shops can actually get in trouble for installing an aftermarket exhausts on bikes.

Lol, thanks! I only have them due to Craigslist and shrewd negotiations! They were not cheap, but they were not overly expensive either. I had a dream to own these 2 bikes, and I worked and made it happen. I use them for transportation as much as I can.

THIS particular bike may well be a toy, but not all bikes are. The two I have are used for transportation to and from work, weather permitting, and allow me to save on gas.

The reason the economy is fucked is from banks lending to FOREIGNERS who never intended to pay anything back. Look it up.

They have made it impossible for hard working people like me to get loans on things like a new home or new car.
