I just have to say something to all of this "stuff" that I have read in the comments. God gave us free will, and we choose what we believe. Those of us that follow Christ have chosen to do so. Nobody forces anything on anyone-it's all free will. So listen to the song, or not. It's your free will to choose.

Love the slideshow. In June I went to Colorado for the Colorado Challenge with the Assembly of God Church in Charlevoix Michigan. This was the one of the songs we sang. I fell in love with this song because it is so true. It was my groups Anthem. It is a very powerful song and has deep meaning for christians and non-christians alike. So far, we've been learning that nature or science is evidence enough that God is here, and that the Bible is true. @anzin74 That's very true. God uses the same passages more than once for situations totally different from what it was applied to previously. It's in parables for a reason. Not everything in the bible is a parable, it was actual events that are examples for those who are heading down the same road or for those to take it as an example and learn from it.

I just have to say something to all of this "stuff" that I have read in the comments. God gave us free will, and we choose what we believe. Those of us that follow Christ have chosen to do so. Nobody forces anything on anyone-it's all free will. So listen to the song, or not. It's your free will to choose.
It's a beautiful song and should not be tainted by non-believers. Christians have had the free will to follow Him and SHOULD have a choice to listen to praises/ worship of Our Lord.

Love the slideshow. In June I went to Colorado for the Colorado Challenge with the Assembly of God Church in Charlevoix Michigan. This was the one of the songs we sang. I fell in love with this song because it is so true. It was my groups Anthem. It is a very powerful song and has deep meaning for christians and non-christians alike. There were five people in our group who were non-christians. They heard this song and accepted Christ.!!!

"Jesus" the miracle maker & risen one is mythical. There IS NO historical evidence that would prove this was true, indeed the historical evidence we DO HAVE proves the very opposite. That he was a mythical character like Robin Hood.
The historical documents that christians use to claim "Jesus" existed as a man is ridiculously vague and could mean any christian and a few have been questioned as fraud.
If "Jesus" was perfect we would at least have some carpentry still around wouldn't we?

@anzin74 Heeey, so we've been doing this bible and the scences in our sunday school. So far, we've been learning that nature or science is evidence enough that God is here, and that the Bible is true. It's just that we have to dig in deeper and match Bible verses with the questions we have. But srsly, the evidence is everywhere :)

Um, there are about four very clear verses on this. ANNOUNCEMENT! The bible must be interpreted by a born-again christian in order for it to be understood. "God" in his wisdom created a book over 1200 years in the making that could only be interpreted by born-again christians in the 21st century. Unless you are born-again you simply cannot understand it.

@anzin74 That's very true. God uses the same passages more than once for situations totally different from what it was applied to previously. It's in parables for a reason. Not everything in the bible is a parable, it was actual events that are examples for those who are heading down the same road or for those to take it as an example and learn from it.

And in first Corinthians 13, Paul tells us again that love is not easily angered, keeps no record of wrongs, always hopes, always perserveres, and that love never fails.

well, for one thing, there are fossils of animals in the process of evolving. have you ever heard of tiktaalik or archeopteryx? and no, science does not come to me when im broken, i dont use some non-existent, megalomaniacal douchebag as a comfort blanket when i feel bad, i deal with it by myself or with family. This is actually also my favourite song. It's amazing to do daily of part of your worship anytime, anywhere and just be in the presence of GOD! GOD YOUR AWSOME AND MIRACLOUES!
