  • I live there and on that day of pure "WAR HELL" all the trees got their &*&%^&ss kicked. I moved my car when I heard all the loud cracking of trees breaking and some limbs fell on my power line and shot so much electricity to my house that all the lights got very BRIGHT and every electronic device in the house melted including our central heat furnace, TV, microwave, etc.. We had to move out for 11 days due to no power or heat. It was actually colder IN my house than outside was.

  • good video! i got an ice storm video on my page too

  • i love how in the beginning he's all 'hear the cracking' X-x umm that would be the point you get your ass back inside, bc if one of those falls on your head, your dead... x.x

  • Is this in Oklahoma? Im in the Tulsa area and we had trees down all over the neighborhood.

  • @whitwithwitt I'm quite sure it was Springfield, MO

  • wow

  • I love the sound effects he makes.

  • Wow... this is an interesting video. I survived the Montreal Ice Storm in 1998 and we had REALLY similar types of views/sounds. It felt like a war zone.

  • where was this?

  • springfield missouri

  • dang. thats where i'm from

  • I had a very bad snow/ice storm in Pennyslvania last year, and on the roof of my house a 3 + foot long icicle formed. The video is on my channel.

  • I live in kansas and it was really freaky on the first night of the storm couse you could hear the transformers pop and the tree limbs break you kinda felt like you were in a Stephen King movie it was like that for the next 2 days

  • we had the exact same like way. the crunching was cool, because the ice on the ground was everywhere, and when i was walking around my neighborhood, it was really creepy listining to the trees creak with all of the ice, especially watching the major powerlines wave back in forth really fast :/. it was especially creepy at night hearing all of the trees snap.

  • I'm glad you filmed this mess we had. We lived in Willard at the time and it was spooky. With all the trees around you I'm surprised you didn't mention hearing the huge popping and cracking at night as the bigger limbs broke off....very eerie sounds in the darkness. I don't mind forgetting that "Storm of the Century" but good video!

  • last year during this ice storm, i lost power for 15 days, kinda sucked... but this is a good vid!

  • wow that sooo cool but we all (montrealers) Lost alot

  • Crunch crunch crunch...LOL man that brings back memories. Great job!

  • Thank you for sharing this with everyone. I am so sorry for your losses.

  • we didn't loose power in central illinois but got a huge ice storm with not very much wind and a lot of snow. but in february 2007 we lost power for over 2 days and almost 2 inches of ice and a lot of smow. horrible a lot of damage

  • That's a large ice storm, everything froze and icycles on everything

  • we had an ice storm hit us last night and ive got video to put on youtube

  • wow that same storm happend to me. Check the video out on my profile

  • this is crazy!

  • The power in my city was out for a week for most of us and some people for up to 2 weeks

not to mention our transformer exploding blwing every lightbulb/ electrical device without a circut breaker

  • The entire southwest Missouri area was hit HARD by this monster ice-storm. The power at my house in Billings, MO was out for 3-4 days...but we were lucky. Most people were without power for a week or more...and some really unlucky people lost power for weeks!

  • dude i live right there that was insane lol your power go off?

  • wow that is awesome were was this ?
