I've got the ue60d8000 LED tv, what picture settings do you use? as I've been trying for a few weeks to find a good set up and cant seem to nail it any advice especially on the motion plus settings would be appreciated as I've heard using them or setting motion blur and judder reduction high can make motion worse, whats your experiance??

my parents got an 8000 series (europe). the internet part is really really bad.

seems they put a phone cpu in it and run the browser full res 1080 with flash and everything. it just doesn't work, it's stumbling badly because the pages are too much for the weak chip. and the galaxy as a remote control is horribly implemented. it's so so shit. the tv itself is quite good but don't buy the 'smart' part. just get the basic tv at 40% of the price.

shame on samsung.

once you get the oppo 83 or 93 or 95 bluray player you will be on top the world.the denon bd-2012 has top picture quality also.Those are the best players right now.panasonic is also an elite player

how do you rate the picture quality for HD,DVD's,Divx normal tv etc and is there anything you have seen you dont like such as the issues on the net, banding light spots which i keep seeing on the net, also is this out of the box settings or calibrated?

The picture quality of this tv is superb in all formats but there are few things that i don't like for example its refresh rate which is 800hz and because of the refresh rate the video sometimes doesn't look real or natural. there must be a way in the menu somewhere to lower the refresh rate but i haven't tried it yet.and the other thing is web browsing, opening or typing anything is not easy using its original remote but you can buy a samsung qwerty remote from ebay for only £35.

@MrSYEDMOEED You think the scenes look unatural with 800Hz, too? I have a 55" Sony 3D LED-HDTV, and I feel the scenes look unatural at only 100Hz even.
