  • lol i have a terrible movie case in one of my videos, only difference is its a DVD cover

  • My vhs of The Wanderers is pretty bad but my class of 84 is as good as yours.

  • hahaha! superb ... i used to have a copy of dodgy late 70's severed hand flick Demonoid:Messenger Of Death in very similair condition that i picked up from a carbooty ... love your style mate

  • I subbed to his channel mate!! hehe

  • still havent seen class of 1984 and i saw a shitty cover for Roadshow's American werewolf in London tape

  • omg i love you haha your patter is fucking amazing

  • @JoanCollins2009

I do carry on far too much lol.

  • how much you selling class of 1984 for? i will pay for it lol looks like someone has kept it in good hands. hehe

  • @shane80s

Shane mate this is a tape that can't be sold lol! I got it back in 1999 for about 50 cents I think. I love that old tape it is so shitty!

  • @AussieRoadshow ooo well then :( lol.how about ur very first vhs tape maybe you sell that one to me hehe later shane.

  • @shane80s

Funny you mention that mate because the very first tape I ever got Frightmare on the Roadshow label, cut down slick, generic box, and missing the top label. I have since got one in near perfect condition. But I'm ready to let that old one go!

  • @AussieRoadshow well mate maybe you can give it me if you dont mind .well its up to you mate lol :) later shane.

  • @shane80s

PM your details again and I'll be happy to shoot that tape off to you no probs.

  • Do You Have The 2009 DVD Relasse Of Madagascar Escape 2 Africa

  • Love those static rolls!

  • I had a so called 'original' of the exorcist in the 80s, it was a photo cover & a pirated tape.

    Sent it back

    But never got s refund.

  • @blaggermouth

Man I would have turned their heads 360 degrees and threw green vomit at them!

  • @whatblah43

For some strange reason I'm a little attached to that spastic copy of Class of 84. Maybe it needs a little lovin' after years of abuse...

  • that cover has all the lovely spices: its badly cut, ok, backcover is cut like wtf? lol, , its faded ok, it has stickers ok, marks of stickers took off- on the spine? ok, one good sticker torn off -mark could be fine to add on this one on front cover! tape with missing label and spine fits well too. great stuff!!

  • @waegiz37

Wow that is very good observation of the tape and cover! It must surely be the worst quality thing ever. I'll have to check my collection to see if I got something else as bad as that, but I don't think so.

  • @blurayuser

Yeah it would be great to see other crappy tapes. I'm sure I got more too. They are a blast, though it makes me wonder why we bother to keep them.

  • I think I've a couple of sleeves in same condition as that "Class of 1984"! One's a K&C tape I was looking at the other day. Very disappointing. I thought that tape was going to start playing all right when it hit the copyright warning, but no such luck. lol Bin it, Darren!

  • @DonaldTaft

I know, it is definitely fit for the tip. But I just can't seem to let it go. It's Class of 84! Lucky it didn't tear my machine up. I would have tore that tape up if it did.

  • @AussieRoadshow LOL! You must have about three or four copies of that tape, so get shot of it! I just found a copy of "Montenegro" which has original (trimmed) front and rear sleeve taped to a B&W photocopy of the original spine. Not sure how the hell that came about???

  • @DonaldTaft

Lol man that sounds like one retarded hybrid of Montenegro! I need to do something similar with my Palace Academy of the film Carmen, which has the front and back, but no spine. Maybe I should put a photocopy spine of The Ecstasy Girls.

  • I had a copy of the awful Bette Davis film Wicked Stepmother that actually destroyed my VCR beyond repair. I threw it away afterwards.

  • @acceptthis01

Man that is real bad! I've had an experience with mold where it cost more to fix the vcr than what I paid for it.

  • I think that tape actually went thru the battle of Class of 1999!

  • @od666666

It certainly did, and went through the sewer as well!

  • I wonder that this video tape have been pirated that you can't really see or hear well on your TV when it played on your VCR.

  • @cruiseshipz

No it's not a pirate as it has the date stamp on the side. It was well rented for sure.

  • @AussieRoadshow Oh I get it now, I see everyone rented Class of 1984 really well despite its popularity.

  • Holy S---! I have not seen a VHS tape that was in even worst condition then "Dracula vs. Frankenstein", Oh not the one by "Independent International", I'm refering to the last film Michael Renie (Klatu) ever did.

  • @sfighter991

Dracula vs Frankenstein, hmmm sounds like a shocker in itself, even if the tape was in mint condition!

  • i haven't seen video oxides and drop-outs in almost 10 years.

the faded cover you have just means that 'class of 84' was highly popular and rented.

    keep sharing

    mr pecker decker

  • @peckerdecker

Yes, Class of 84 was an ultra popular release and that old tape sure had a good run! Amazing that it even still plays at all.

  • Man, that vid really sucks, but that's nothing compared to the Raging Bull I picked up, looked perfect only to discover it was full of mould, hence "The Video of Doom"

  • @accountwithoutrules

That definitely was the video of doom! It's also bad when you get those ultra sticky security stickers on the cassette window that obscures the tape so you can't see the mold.

  • Your vcr now has the fecal matter syndrome. :/ That was the worst tape I've seen. Other than one with mold covering the inside layer of tape! lol. Which I found some of my beta's had on them and I threw them out! Not putting those in my player!

  • @MADPUPPETDETH

Seriously Lori so glad to hear you never put a moldy tape in, it fucks your vcr up big time. Made that mistake once in the past, the player had to go in the garbage with the video tape!

  • dont look right to me ,looks like tracking or drop outs have you a timebase vcr

  • @mackinl

I'm not sure what a timebase vcr is! It's a Panasonic from the early 90s. I put a good quality tape in and it works fine, still plays in stereo etc. What a messed up old tape that one is.

  • Thanks SO much for the shoutout mate! I was wondering why I was getting so many new subscription emails on the train home. That tape of yours is a shocker haha. Fancy cutting it down so badly! And that video quality... what kind of piece of shit 2 head Goldstar portable VCR did the previous renters play that tape in!!

  • @ExplosiveAction

Just when you think you picked up the worst tape on earth, believe me there's some poor bastard with something even worse lol. I'm glad some new subbers are heading over your way, I love the weird and wonderful stuff you pick up.

  • @AussieRoadshow Thanks mate! I got a few goodies in the last days so another video soon! Everybody please video response this and show us your worst condition VHS, I'd love to see them!

  • Ive got a couple of Uber Fucked ones one of which cracks me up might make a vid about it

  • @dislexsicknik

Those fucked up tapes need some air time on YT I reckon lol. I would love to see them :)

  • Wow over the years i have collected hundreds of ex rental videos and have never seen anything that bad ' i use to work at video ezy and even the really old 80's tapes we still had there where all clean and very well looked after '

  • @ComptonKilla85

Video Ezy were definitely among the best when it came to looking after old tapes. Oh and the adult sections were well stocked and awesome lol. You so need to get a video camera man and join the collector community here on YT :)

  • Those bloody video shop owners are complete idiots, who would butcher it like that. I have seen some shocking vhs slicks but never picked them up, "thats fucked!!" haha that had me cracking up

  • @ausvideocollection

I was so keen for a copy of the movie that I picked it up uber cheap, before I managed to find a mint copy for about $5 on the former Oztion site. I kept the shit copy anyway as a reminder of just how vile some video stores were, in this case Video Power in Sunshine in the west of Melbourne. Just when you think you have a crap copy, believe me, there's always a shittier one lol.

  • hope you used industrial strength hand wash after toucing that

  • @rowie0210

Believe me, the epidermis of my finger's skin lay at the bottom of my bathroom sink.

  • Yikes, that was a crappy cover. I don't know if I have tapes that top that but may come in very close. I think I have a couple really used tapes from Jumbo or Queen St. Video, maybe I'll post them one of these days. Glad you got a decent copy to watch, thanks for posting.

  • @Rbatty2

JC it's SO bad it's kinda cool! But how dare someone treat canuxploitation with such contempt :)

  • @AussieRoadshow Swell but good point. If it was a copy of Death Ship, I wouldn't care but I won't go on about that one again. "Glug, glug, glug....."

  • @lastalot

It came from the now closed Video Power store in Sunshine, a western suburb we affectionately refer to as Scumshine :)

  • @lastalot

It's also a nice reminder of how terrible some video stores treated their tapes!

  • @lastalot

Yes he does, which is why I did this vid.

  • @lastalot

No, thank fuck the player still plays, man that tape is a shocker! I'm keeping that little bastard too. That little piece of shit brightens my day :)
