I don't mind that Capcom turned Leon into an emotionless robot Keanu Reeves type character in RE4, but why'd they keep RoboLeon for this prequel? He was just a regular guy in RE2. I would say he was human, in fact. "Hold your fire, I'm a human!" anyone? haha
This game is really good (completed it twice) but when will they do a full Resident evil 2/3 remake? Doesn't take a genius to realise it would sell v well and it would give people an excellent reason to pick up a Wii U

when i got this game i was so excited cuz i loved re2 after playing half-way through i loved the game even more i stopped playing it for awhile because i was stuck on the final stage of alexia and when i put the disc in to start playing it again it had a gaint scratch on it! it wouldnt work i started crying because it was so hard to find and it costed me 30 bucks so im still looking for the game it makes me cry when i think about it

There is more to gaming than "HD graphics". Gameplay counts and the Wii's got the best. Check out Mario Galaxy, Legend of Zelda:Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3 Corruption, Madworld, Red Steel 2, No More Heros, Call of Duty 4: Reflex Edition, Donkey Kong Country Returns, etc, etc.

@rsa2821 this game along with umbrella chronicles are on the wii my favorite resident evil is the first 3 of the series for the playstation and dreamcast i also enjoy resident evil 4 for the game cube an the pc an ps2 resident evil 5 is pretty good for the 360 an ps3 but there are some dull moments in the 5th one now the resident evil chronicle series for the wii is amazing an its a good game to start playing if ur new to the resident evil series :)
umm isn't nemesis in Umbrella Chronicles? I have both games... from what I recall for DC its: Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil: CV, and the new Final Campaign.

@gchain RE4: Wii edition. The best version of RE4 in my opinion, and definitely the best RE game for the Wii. But if you already played RE4, than the second best is Resident Evil: Archives.
Resident Evil 4 is on the Wii is probably the best Resident Evil release on any console EVER. But this rails shooter is also awesome, despite not being as polished asother wii rails-shooters like the superb HOTD:overkill and Dead Space: Extraction... kind of makes you wonder if an RE FPS is possible but and it is nice to replay the stories in a diffrent way?
Hey Mark, if you liked the Darkside Chronicles you should look into the Umbrella Chronicles, which fills in the gaps present in this game, that is, Resident Evil Zero, Resident Evil, and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis.

@ThePoopChef I never said that I don't like rail shooter. Capcom could make a good remake of RE2 and Veronica by using the engine of RE4, but the decided to make yet another rail shooter. My point is, that Capcom gives a damn about making a 3rd person game like RE4 or RE5. One more thing; if you can't read between the rows, don't try it.

@rsa2821 this game along with umbrella chronicles are on the wii my favorite resident evil is the first 3 of the series for the playstation and dreamcast i also enjoy resident evil 4 for the game cube an the pc an ps2 resident evil 5 is pretty good for the 360 an ps3 but there are some dull moments in the 5th one now the resident evil chronicle series for the wii is amazing an its a good game to start playing if ur new to the resident evil series :)

@gchain RE4: Wii edition. The best version of RE4 in my opinion, and definitely the best RE game for the Wii. But if you already played RE4, than the second best is Resident Evil: Archives.

Resident Evil 4 is on the Wii is probably the best Resident Evil release on any console EVER. But this rails shooter is also awesome, despite not being as polished asother wii rails-shooters like the superb HOTD:overkill and Dead Space: Extraction... kind of makes you wonder if an RE FPS is possible but and it is nice to replay the stories in a diffrent way?

most of the guns take a year and a half to unlock
and the fact that its on rails makes this worse
you cant just stop and reload, you gotta do it on the fly >.>
good backtracking for the plot followers though

Hey Mark, if you liked the Darkside Chronicles you should look into the Umbrella Chronicles, which fills in the gaps present in this game, that is, Resident Evil Zero, Resident Evil, and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis.

@ThePoopChef I never said that I don't like rail shooter. Capcom could make a good remake of RE2 and Veronica by using the engine of RE4, but the decided to make yet another rail shooter. My point is, that Capcom gives a damn about making a 3rd person game like RE4 or RE5. One more thing; if you can't read between the rows, don't try it.

Gr8 game. i wish i ad it. luks gr8 and luv the series along with Silent Hill. creepy OSTs, monsters, characters, puzzles, graphics, locations, weapons & storylines make RE RE. luv it and RE1 is1 of my best along with 1.5 & 3. luv em all. (Y)
