  • I´m gonna try it today on the nearest Mc donalds..!!!

  • It is a classic! Goes along with my new "seniors won't 'take' poor CUSTOMER service any more!". In the words of a "wise man", "That's All I Can Stands, I CAN'T STANDS NO MORE!" -Popeye The Sailor

  • Easily a top 5 performance from this acting legend. There are scores of pretend Jack Nicholson "fans" who have never even seen or heard of this great movie.....a bunch of wanna-bes and whiffle ball players......each one of them.

  • Happy 72th Birthday Jack Nicholson

  • @a7xbigfan9 Actually I think he's 74

  • @666Horns Yeah I know I messed it up

  • @TheAxellle

    stop it.

  • Any time Nicholson goes nuts, we know we're in cinematic heaven.

  • Hold It Between Your Knees LOL That's My Jack ! Thumbs Up For This Great Post !

  • i loled :D

  • Nobody get's angry like Jack

  • Trop envie de voir ce film !

  • So much win!! :')

  • Jack Nicholson is the ^##&%& man!

  • Who want's to fuck with Jack?

  • @1980Invasiontour Someone who doesn't know him =D

  • total rubbish

you will never go in a diner /restaurant whatever anywhere in the world

that wont do a side order of toast! its the law

wonder if she could hold the chicken between her knees

  • u got 2 love good old jack :D lol

  • I'm Hungry now

  • What place in the world are waitresses that prissy?

    Haha

  • The kids mostly think this is great. How wonderful it is that a tortured, conflicted, fucked-up man gets into a well-nigh violent confrontation with a rule bound middle-aged harpy who's probably been stuck in menial dead-end jobs all her life dealing with wanna be big shots who are really just typical losers for a living all in the context of a brutal society based on social darwinism where people get used and used-up in a joyless life of rootless expediency repersented by a sad, sorry culture.

  • He's so fucking awesome!

  • JACK AT HIS BEST!!!

  • hasn't the waitress heard of the term, "the customer is always right"?

  • you see THIS sign???

  • MEDICATION! What do you mean ,no tomato?

  • @controversyking ya i know. she had a bad life looks like

  • I love his accent & voice, I wish I sounded like that.

    "No p'tatoes on th' plate."

  • He is the best actor and no other actor compares.

'I want you to hold it between your knees"

  • DONT FUCK WITH JACK!!!

  • "I want you to hold it between your knees"

  • oh, jesus. im so in love with him.

  • dont ever deny jack his toast

  • This whole scene is a metaphor for life.

  • @KiwiSire how so?

  • @KiwiSire more a metaphor on the fighting against conformity

all of jacks movies back then had a similar theme

he was always at war with the man

  • I loooooooooooooove Jack Nicholson

  • What really puts the waitress in the wrong is that Jack figures out how to get what he wants without forcing her to break any rules and she still refuses. Great scene. The 70's was a great time for American cinema until Star Wars came along and created the notion you have to make a gazillion dollars the opening weekend.

  • @chomsky88 it was jaws that created the hollywood need to make the blockbuster

but even back then, the action/fantasy films were weighted more on character development

    now its all cgi

  • She really just couldn't give him what he wanted? lol

  • "Now I know what it comes with, but it's not what I want."

My first time seeing this scene, and already from that particular line I knew it was gonna be full of win-lol!!!

Oh yeah, and Jack's character right.

    ;-D

  • Heh heh... classic stuff. And if you haven't seen it, the rest of the movie is just as good.

I was a server at a TGI Friday's a long time ago, and this movie was referenced more than once during training. They even had a "'Five Easy Pieces' Rule" in the training book. I can't remember exactly how they put it, but it boiled down to "The customer is always right."

  • I'd love to do that at some of the many shity cafe's in the Uk where customer servise is crap!!! hahahaha nice one!!!

  • nicholson stinks. only assholes like him. anybody who is his fan is a faggot

  • @TracyAndersonFoxhunt

Anybody who is Nicholson's fan is a faggot, huh? Only assholes like him, huh?

Lemme get this straight: you love MILEY CYRUS and you call US "faggots" and "assholes??"

    Pot, meet kettle.

Go back to daycare and get your diaper changed.

  • @wannawatchu66 whoever goes around, throwing around the word "faggots" is a REAL asshole too.... That word and it etymology are repulsive, one should be drop-kicked in the head for using that disgusting word so casually as if it means nothing.

  • I see that sign.

  • It's too bad the US stopped making good movies at the end of the 70s.

  • @devolve42 I completely agree with this statement

  • @devolve42 nah i'd say it went downhill after the 90s

  • @devolve42 raging bull 80, the shining 80, the empire strikes back 80, scarface 83, ghostbusters 84, the breakfast club 85, platoon86, blade runner 82, goodfellas 90, the silence of the lambs 91, terminator 2 91, unforgiven 92, schindler's list 93, pulp fiction 94, the shawshank redemption 94, forrest gump 94, just to name a few

  • Comment removed

  • @devolve42 Platoon. Pulp Fiction. Raiders of the Lost Arc.

  • @devolve42

Yes, 1980 through 2010 has contained no good movies. Moron.

  • @MagneticDog Not true ! 1990 was the end of good movie's

  • @devolve42 Wow how can I disagree with that

  • @devolve42 'Five Easy Pieces' is coming out on Blu-Ray this November as part of a box set of films produced by BBS (Easy Rider is in that package among others). And it's put out by Criterion no less. Merry Christmas to all.

  • @devolve42 BS

  • @devolve42 i agree as well

  • @devolve42 actually they dident, just the rate and balance beetwen good and bad movies is much closer!

  • @devolve42 I can't agree with that... There are a lot of good post 70s movies. That have come out of the US.

  • @devolve42 I can't agree with that... There are a lot of good post 70s movies. That have come out of the US. I will agree that there is are many more junk movies then good movies in the US in recent years.

  • @WildoTheRubberFist we do have a lot a talented director/writer now to call our own too, Wes Anderson, Charlie Kaufman, Paul Thomas Anderson, Aronofsky, Fincher, Tod Solontz, but most of these guys have been around for a while now. I'd say we're due for a new crop to balance out the crap.

  • @devolve42

    This is so wrong.

  • @devolve42 I like older movies better but thats just an ignorant comment, there have been plenty of great movies since the 1970's.

  • @devolve42 Let me guess, you also think "there is no good music nowadays" and you "listen to everything but hip hop and country".

  • @devolve42 I agree the 70s had arguably the best movies but evenn now we do ocassionally get something good like hisotry of violence, no country for old men, inglorious basterds, the dark knight, memento, fight club, rescue dawn, there will be blood, donnie darko, mullhulland drive, aronofsky movies, philip seymore hoffman, ocassionally decaprio etc.

  • @devolve42 Well Said...

  • @devolve42 I thought it was somewhere in the 90s. You can't say there aren't plenty of good movies made in the 80s.

  • @devolve42 but hey thanks for the ensuing yank invasion...

  • @devolve42 come on! 40 years ago the folks said "they stopped making good movies after 50's"and 40 years later the folks would say " they stopped making good movies after 2000". its all basically related to one's won "growing up" years!

  • @devolve42

Blame it on the blockbuster, fuck avatar, matrix, jurrasic park, star wars

  • @devolve42 Oh really, because I'm pretty sure any movie of the 90's was better than 70's shit. Forest Gump, Saving Private Ryan, Titanic, etc.

  • @devolve42 The US doesn't make movies.

  • @devolve42 Somebody never saw Raging Bull.

  • @WeeklyTubeShow2 exactly my point.

  • @devolve42 somebody stopped watching movies at the end of the 70s huh?

  • @devolve42 yep, sure. what's the matter you don't like "snakes on a plane"??

  • @devolve42 What a dumb thing to say. The US have been making plenty of great films since the 70's. Good filmmakers will always make good films in any decade.

  • not that nuts

  • GO JACK! stupid bitch. he showed her :)

  • @mrm4xim4m MY MAN!!

  • Please go to face book and become a fan... we need you. Look for: Please help get Jack Nicholson & Robert Pattinson in a movie together. Thanks in advance for your help.

  • that was gangster

  • i love him really

    saudi arabia.

  • you see this sign lol

  • "You see this sign?" BAM!

  • Farking mad actor.. even though its a movie, he stands for the real people in the world. Not the people who act like robots in our ever planet.

  • I love Jack :)

  • does anyone know the movie where jack goes nuts and has a rant while hes talking to a complaining woman and sounds something like "go outside!!!, do something with your life..and open some windows for once, its starting to smell like a goddamn coffin in here!!!"....not exact quotes but very similar.

  • @fender50 Carnal Knowledge

  • nicholson is a fuck up

  • @TracyAndersonFoxhunt yeah, your right Nicolson's a fuck up, even tho he's probably worth 50 million.

  • @z28camaro2 i know i'm right. and i don't give a crap how much money he has. so be jealous if you want... i'm not

  • @TracyAndersonFoxhunt lol, jealous of you? haha

and how is Nicholson a fuck up anyways?

  • @z28camaro2 shithead... jealous of Nicholson... never mind

  • @TracyAndersonFoxhunt so why is he a fuck up?

  • @z28camaro2 i don't know. i just don't like him that much, except in The Shining

  • @TracyAndersonFoxhunt well fair enough, we all have actors we don't like, it's personal preference, I don't like Steven Seagal, and everyone seems to love him, lol

but I still would say that Nicholson has done fairly well for himself.

  • @TracyAndersonFoxhunt Just because you don't like someone doesn't make Him objectively a fuck up.

  • @z28camaro2 I love it, this person uses words like "faggot" on this page and then has the nerve to ask people not to write negative comments on his videos because he's posting footage of him killing animals and says it's hunting. Idiot.

  • @earmullet I think those are the video's he's favorited, not his videos.

  • The best part is that the waitress will have the cost of the damages taken out of her paycheck! LOL

  • I always wanted to say that to a waitress, but they've always been so nice and polite, so I just can't do it.

  • That's so great, there have been many times where I've wanted to do that in a restraunt, some waiters and waitresses are such a pain in the ass.

  • awesome

  • juck rules!!!! man... he's just... jack.

  • lol @ jackie boy's little temper trantrum

  • BA HA HA HA Jack you rule

  • Great scene Nicholson = Legend but I wouldn't call that a tantrum I'd call it a calm and collected display of anger and frustration.......Nicholson style!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @TheGreatZurEnRaah - ALPHA MALE ;]

  • love some Jack, bring it all with your knees,,

  • That's a bad ass jacket he's got in this scene.

  • LMAO!

  • A good training video that should teach any waitress...or waiter the following:

    "THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT."

  • good one

  • @ADROKMCA i disagree.. the customer isnt always right.. this is more a lesson that some people dont handle bullshit well...besides, the poor bus boy has to clean that mess up

  • yeah they seem to hire the most anally retentive people as waiters

  • jack is the #1 laker fan

  • Haha what a biyatch! Jack owns!

  • this is soo funny because it is so true.

  • Hell yeah! Go, Jack!

  • that's hilarious. i gotta see this movie.

  • great scene from a great film, nicholson shone here and we just knew a star was rising. thanks for posting

  • lol I've had that feeling before at diners.

  • See Jack three decades later humbly accepting the waitress's rules in About Schmidt.

  • @MsMOVIESSSTAR animation? wtf

  • priceless jack

  • excellent excellent, never seen this movie but i think i would like it

  • It's a great scene because you are unsure who's right or wrong.

Bobby Du pea knows the rules so why is he persisting.

The Waitress is pretty anal but simply doing her job.

    That's the magic of it.

  • where is the anal? i didnt see that part :/

  • That's on a different site!!!!

  • but there was something about between the knees...

  • Thats the way to deal with jobsworths

  • that's just the waitress being inflexible

flexible is what makes a company rich, so

if you have such employees, well.. bad news
