  • video making in your jammies! :) lovin it

  • Very nice video man, I installed my first watercooled graphics card like a month ago and was planning to make an installation video just like you since theres not much info about the whole installation of watercooling components, but I always messed up when talking for the video and stuff so I just left it as an unboxing for the card XD, But all the performance is definetelly worth it, and your "anti-draining" tips gave me ideas for whenever I'll have to do maintenance =)

  • @RandomDecoy ncix{dot}com has them in stock

  • Hey man, i commend you on your rig, it is very nice! I am currently building my own 1155 socket setup, its pretty sweet up to now, just need the GPU :P I think i'm deffo gunna try and get my hands on one of these EVGA's (if i can ever find one that is lul) I was just wondering what size are the barbs that come with the card and what size is the internal thread that they screw into?

  • whats with the black nail polish on your feet?

  • You mean you had two Raedon's in Crossfire since Nvidia is SLi and Crossfire is ATI.

  • @hdpredator1114 Correct, I don't cut or even watch the videos before I post them so a lot of things slip :) I'm not trying to professional reviews but rather just post my ramblings and some video to go along with them. Thanks for the catch though.

  • @hdpredator1114 he knows , slip of tongue i think.

  • Man thats beast of PC ... what 1millionX faster than my pc

  • @cswao19 I don't know about 1 millionX faster but it's pretty quick. A Sandybridge I7 with similar cooling however would kill my system :) I just can't justify upgrading to one just yet because I want the hexcore and I'm waiting for more reviews on it before biting the bullet.

  • @barnacules1 AMD FX-8 core is out too ... have a look at that FX-8 bulldozer. gives 7.9 on factory settings. my friends FX-4 gives him 7.2 on Factory settings.

  • @cswao19 I honestly haven't given AMD the time of day so I may have to read some reviews. I have years of past experience with AMD and they were nothing but trouble in my opinion. They run super hot (atleast used too) and the build quality and reliability wasn't as good as Intel. This may have all changed however I still have a bad taste in my mouth. I remember the old K series of processors that the CPU fan would go out and they would literally just burn up. What have you heard?

  • @barnacules1 That was back when they used to produce tdp 100-125W processors which had 65 nm mfg , new processors have 32 nm mfg , so they run fast, cool and with ur water cooler, they will freeze :P

  • @cswao19 Thanks for the information, I think I'm going to do some digging now and figure out what my next mobo/cpu combo is going to be! Right now I'm on the hunt for a Xonar D2X sound card but for some reason they are all sold out in the united states. I need a PCIe sound card to replace my AuzenTech prelude before I upgrade since the new motherboard will most likely be all PCIe.

  • @barnacules1 can you suggest me good gfx card under $200-$230? i am bit restricted on budget...

  • @cswao19 You can actually get a pretty good setup for $~200. I would suggest checking Craigslist or eBay and trying to get a few ATI Radeon 5870's since everyone is upgrading. Two of those cards in Crossfire actually will play just about anything at 30+ FPS. That is the setup I upgraded from! I sold my cards on Craigslist for $250 months ago. Also nVidia has some serious problems with there drivers so I would have gone ATI if I knew what i knew now :)

  • @barnacules1 I was thinking abt Nvidia , since you CUDA and PHYSX which are not in ATI

Do you thing PhysX makes any difference. SInce I can save few bucks on ATI cards.

  • this is cool never seen this done before. interesting to see. you should post how cool the temps are!

  • @imnotnutz89 The temps are rock solid at 27C idle - 33C under full load. This temp range is about the same for the GTX 590 and the CPU since my water cooling setup is completely overkill. I honestly did this setup because nobody had done it before however I suspect after the number of views my videos have received other people are going to be building a setup just like (or better) then mine in the near future. My friend Greg also built the same setup.

  • @barnacules1 I had to replace my video card and it was a fucken mess with all the tubbing and water all over the place carpet cloth ..

  • @Valadcm500 100% Agree, I am going to purchase quick disconnects when I do my next upgrade since it really is a completely pain to work with the water-cooling when you are installing and removing components.

  • quick disconnects are needed in avery build trust me

  • @Valadcm500 I completely agree now, installing and uninstalling components is a huge chore without them. I will be purchasing some when I do my motherboard/CPU swap in a few months.

  • Holy.. wow. I will buy this soon.

  • @lDefKonl Please post when you do!

  • awesome dude, that's awesome PC you have & the way you hock up the water cooling was awesome.

  • @Master4386 Thank you! I love receiving compliments on my setup and that is what motivates me to post more videos. I'm hoping to be able to post some videos in the future of other games when time allows. Today I was playing Flight Sim X for a little while and actually got air sick from the movement. My brain was 100% convinced I was flying and this is the first game that has given me this level of realism. Downside is you can't play the game for more then 10 minutes :p

  • anyone else notice his creepy painted toe nails?

  • @BestDayEver01 I noticed, totally creepy man... How dare this guy even post a video! By the way I comment on the toes at the end of the video if you watch the whole thing :)

  • Awesome man, nice setup. It looks like there Is a bit of a kink in the hose going out of the gpu so you might want to watch out for that :)

  • @prattlesnake42 Thanks for the heads up, I was able to solve the problem by rotating the hose a bit. Water cooling from scratch like I did is a lot harder then I thought it would be. I am absolutely loving it thought! I'm going to upgrade to a hex core sandybridge on Black Friday. I'll post some video when I get it all setup.

  • Nice unboxing getting mine tomorrow can't wait :-) Does the T-shirt fit by the way? :-P

  • @evoron8 I don't know, haven't tried it on yet :) I'm guessing it will be a tight fit. I'm a big dude :)

  • I am now not worried that mine will have the t-shirt! The whole reason I bought a hydro copper one!

  • @TRAUMAeagle That is one expensive T-Shirt sir :)

  • @TRAUMAeagle Do a review of the t-shirt and mouse part alone, and what size is the shirt?

  • So you were the ass hole who bought mine! ;)

  • @TRAUMAeagle Yup, I was like "NewEgg, just drop TRAUMAeagle below me in the list and I'll Paypal ya $50". They totally did it! :)

  • @TRAUMAeagle And on the 15th I'm getting mine :D and a month AFTER that my liquid cooling system....

  • Wow... You have the PC (and the wife) of my dreams... She must be very understanding.

I'm pretty sure you're gonna get a seccond GTX 590 in there...

Please come back with more videos and some specs when you do...

I have only one question. Why do you combine air cooling with water cooling? Can't you find a water cooling block for your motherboard?

    Thumbs up. :)

  • @aditzrulez they do make a water-block for my motherboard however it is a P6T Deluxe V2 (a bit out dated) and I plan to upgrade from my I7 Bloomfield to the Sandy Bridge when Intel releases a triple channel hex core version early next year. I already maxed out the CPU's abilities well beyond the motherboards so extra cooling wouldn't give me any added benefit. With the water cooling on the CPU I was able to get rock stable on prime at 4.2ghz and when I'm just gaming I can get to 4.6ghz

  • Sex

  • @slate0032 Lol... Sex is better then this but not by much :p

  • I ran it all last night and all day today with no leaks or problems. The graphics card is staying under 32C at full load and CPU temps are staying same as before. I'm not sure how I feel about nVidia's software, doesn't seem nearly as good as ATI's for switching profiles, etc and I do have some odd problems with DiRT 3 where the 3rd monitor in surround has a sync issue but other then that it is very fast. 7.9 graphics score in Windows 7.
