  • This is a Battalion marching toward to the parade ground, the band is actually part of that Battalion and not the Division that they a part of. So, another word, this is NOT the actual parade, they are just marching somewhere!

  • lol, guys at the back look a bit sloppy!

  • This is the worst marching band ever. They don't deserve to have a royal in their title.

  • @Pre114

    They sound perfectly fine.

  • @Pre114 IMO you are wrong. The band has a very good tempo for marching troops and that is what is it is doing. It is not a concert or a collegemarching band.

If you have ever been at the end of a long column of marching troops you will know what I mean!

  • My head hurts. I got beat up in Bangkok by Red Shirts!!!

  • they play like shit

  • love. . .. . . the royal guard

  • That last group of lads are having a hard time staying in step.

    Did somebody die?

  • I believe the King's older sister had passed away.

  • and thats why they play happy music?

  • @PCNerding - no, they play happy music so thatthey can march? yeah?

  • Oh my

  • For a moment there, I thought they were the British foot guards. :D

Also, what march is that, sounds very nice. :)

  • The marching song is written by the King of Thailand and is played during annual "Trooping of the Colours" when these troops swear allegiance to His Majesty the King on the 5th of December.

  • You have got realized that Siam (Thailand) modeled thier Army after England due to British system of gevernance back in 1800's dueing the great change then. As you can see, uniform still reflects such doctrine.

  • @emptyangel The march is called "Royal Guards" and was written by the King, who I believe was a jazz saxophonist.
