Believe LKY, when he said that even with the super-high salary he offered, he was not able to attract his 1st-choice to stand for election, and that what we have now in parliarment are not his 1st-choice.

What he did not say is whether these people are his 2nd-choice, or 3rd-choice, or...

Ministers can speak like this when they are reward themselves multi million paychecks. At more then SGD3M pa or SGD300,000 pm Singapore ministers are paid more than th President of the USA while those on welfare gets a paltry SGD330 pm. Doesn't this suck big time?
