@IvanCARDINAL I see you are refering to the scene in TF dark of the moon in which a segment of The Island is seen, and it is known that the reason for that is because a girl got seriously injured during the filming of the scene, so filming had to be posponed, but the scene was never completely finished so they had to insert that clip.

@sammueljameswiticker Oh, absolutely everything else is real! Sure...in fact, the entire city of Chicago was leveled. Oh, we're used to that sort of thing, you know with the fire of 1871 and all. Yeah...it was all real...and how much weed have you smoked lately???

@rbobinsky Well obviously those type of shots are CGI but I mean that the mayority of the action sequences are all practical effects, but of course with the robots added in later.... but all those explosions, car flips, even the helicopters and airplanes in the background are real...

@sammueljameswiticker Sorry, SammyJ, but you're wrong on that one. I was there when it was being filmed. Most of the stuff is CGI. There were some explosions, and some of the car chases were real, but a majority was CGI. Sorry to burst the old bubble there...
