I wouldn't say he's the BEST singer in the world , nobody is , because there are so many styles , but he IS one of the best in his style, that cannot be denied. If he can do this without any post-soundediting (wich I think he can) this is really a remarkable achievement, such pure tones and such discipline in the use of his voice ... astounding

@riv2012 dear riv, i know everything about overtone singing, the video u suggest me also,good one..and i confirm that Zehnder is the best overtone/sperimental singer nowday.Anyone has the brightness,clearness and control overtones like Christian,trust me.

Cheers for the pointers. I agree Zehnder's tones are beautifully clear, I prefer the first of these series of videos. Especially the use of yodelling as well. It's up there with the Christian link I sent.

@riv2012 U r welcome..and i agree with u, the first part is the best one, low singing and the control are IMPRESSIVE. Yodelling is perfectly mixed by Zehnder, as all the others styles he sing; he cames from conservatory where he studied like " basso". I saw him live 3 times, and i must say that it's the best way to enjoy his performance 'cause Christian is very phisical to achieve some kind of sounds,u can't appreciate from videos; more he has a real powerful voice that can resonate inside u.
