I just viewed your video. U really have got the G Nmn sounds to a T my friend. The way U play the G N stuff VERY well & I like how you've broken down the tracks like M.E so I'll be able to listen to this & learn it thanks. I finished the backin for R F Elec, just got to add vocals, recording takes some doing to get it spot on as I record in real time. I've finished Airlane & Photograph by G Nmn my versions. This sounds sound me exacly from The Pleasure Principle 09/10 Tour in a perfect creation. How did you do that ?

@GlamourZero many years on the synth, trial and error you could say, one day i just stumbled on the right parameters, on a d50, vox humana isnt right but its a close enough giging alternative,

@emjay946 The "Vox Humana" is a proeminent sound. For what i eard Gary Numan don't realie use the polymoog samples in this actual ages, but the sound from virus designed by some people from dubsounds. Your sound, Metal for exemple its sound exacly the same for me from "The Pleasure Principle 09/10 tours. ;D

P.S I was saying I've done a cover of Airlane, R F Elec by got it's been hard work as these synths can have mind of their own. I've recorded these in real time doing all the bass, drum & keyboard track myself, had to drop in loads of times & all other editing aint easy but fun to in getting it spot on. I'll add vocals to A F Elec with vocoder & other efx. I've nearly finished Neon Lights by Krfrwrk to. Cheers from Rich

Well done perfect just like the sounds G N uses, I like U're amazing cover of Me I Dscnct frm U & so on. I nearly finished my version of Airlane, R F Elc, taking my juno g which I've recorded these on trk by trk to the shop wer I bot it from the chap going to give me a hand to add efx as the Juno isn't the easiest with adding efx but I get there & the chap is going to get me started on using audio on the juno so I be laughing. I'd love to meet U & others a like though music is a hobby from Rich

Well it doesn,t surprise me it was you who supplied these patches... they are spot on!.. after a week and half i have got a "near moogy" sound but not as good as yours :o( the phaser is the tough bit to get right. is there 2 or 3 going on with varying frequencies? and super saws? please can i have? hum hum :-( i will pay for them... just so inspiring. i wont copy or sell them in any way you have my word!... Did Ade fenton commision you to do these? or Mr Numan? excellent work!

Hi matt, it wasnt a podcast they refered to these (or maybe someone elses) virus patches... now i think about it. It was an interview at the end of Telekon live DVD with Numan and Fenton. They were asked how difficult it was to recreate the old moog sounds for the Telekon tour, Numan pipes up easy with the viruss, fenton also says he used a bank of moog patches for virus he got off someone. I remember thinking hmmm.. interesting.. i would like! :0) so if you can get a look at that video...

VERY GOOD, WELL PLAYED & nice sound of Virus. These are covers you've done from the pleasure principal album. I've got that & nearly every G Nmn album. You just need to add drums & other backing which would finish it of nicely. I do covers like Gary Numan, Kraftwerk. I'm working on Neon Lights recording it on my Juno G track by track hard work at times but well worth it. You should sell your soundsets online... maybe recreate the soundset on other synths (prophet 08 maybe?) too if possible and sell those as well.

@emjay946 the name Vox Humana is not,it is an old pipe Organ stop,seen it on I00 year old chuch Organs,Human voice sound it dose sound like the Moog sound in a funny way,so there could not say it was theres anyway.

I was brought up on Hand setting sounds and original synths before presets, Like the posts before, sounds like direct samples, brilliant job Matt.

Only us Hard core Numan fans and into Synths would listen to this with such Joy :)

@Synthsound1 i had a jupiter 6 for 10 years, great synth, i dont own a virus but have one at work which i can fiddle about with. every sound ive gone for the virus can recreate, and then some,, numans cp co billie curries odyssey lead sound complete with "screaming", the virus ti2 is awesome
