there's an easier fix for this, just open cydia and search for xCon and install that... what xCon does is bypasses the jailbreak check on all market apps... i installed it, and my optimum app works perfectly.

Thank you brother, you just added value back to cablevision's service, which they foolishly removed. Just because of this workaround, i am staying as a cablevision customer. you just saved them from having another customer jump ship. Kind of bittersweet.

Its easier to just get ifile in cydia. and do that. open ifile go VAR>Stash>applications> and just find Cydia.app and change it. Bydia.app change the C to B or wht evr

Yo it will still work if you leave the Cydia folder name changed if you read down further in the sinful forums I posted that the only reason the other appps wouldn't work was because I installed the latest barrel app and the carousel theme made the apps not work so the fix works fine you can leave the Cydia.app name changed no need to name it back to Cydia so it's somewhat perm.
