  • Tokyo "Metoro" ....

  • 私は、東京メトロの声が大好きです!

  • their train is bigger inside

  • Look what they did on the italian metro. Search on Youtube: flash mob METRO PARTY.

  • Ive never been on a train :(

  • @TokyoAro you have never been on a train?!?!

Were do you life? Burkinas Fasho?

    lol?

Me got more hard life: I never had sex and I am 29, male :/

  • @PriusRider I live in New Mexico a state in the united states (jus t stating that because people mistake it for MEXICO) and well we dont really have trains here and the ones we do ive never needed to use ive been on kid trains and stuff like ones ones in Disney Land thats about it tho

  • @TokyoAro oh... i life in (west) berlin and it is usual to take public transport instead of a car. So i ride train a lot ^^

  • @PriusRider Well Berlins a very big place New Mexico is small

  • @PriusRider Hey! the train is great but too noisy jajaja

  • if only nyc subways were as quiet, clean, and pleasant as this. I despise when stupid people start playing music on their cellphones. ::sigh:: Japanese train riders are too lucky ;(

  • Se Comparar Os Metrôs e Os Trens Daki do Rio de Janeiro Com O Metrô do Japão, O Brasil Fik No Chinelo!!! XD

  • there are ufo catchers in the station! if u look through the window you can see 'em

  • Ok I got a question..

    I live here in NY..

And for many years we knew we have two main train companies..

GE (american trains) and Kawasaki (japanese trains..) The old F line used them for many years and now we have new trains that are suppose to be from Japan..

BUT I have watched many subway train clips filmed in Japan and I have not ever seen any of the trains that were suppose to have come from Japan,.. over there.. Were any of the Japanese imported trains in NY ever used in Japan??

  • No(as the means of the VERY same type of train operating in NY). Because of the difference of regulations about train between U.S. and japan, we can't use same type of train.

In Japan, there are 5 elec-train manufacturer.

    1: Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd.

    2: Hitachi Ltd.

    3: Nippon Sharyo, Ltd.

    4: Tokyu Car Corp.

5: The Kinki Sharyo Co., Ltd.

1&3 has an overseas affiliated company in the U.S., and, has a achievement of deliverying train.

  • @orangie84 yes many many many years ago, the trains that we imported are old and shit, we have trains here in LA to and they're like 10-20 years old

  • @orangie84

when metro cars are ordered, the party that order them give specification to

    the builder.

this includes design of exterior and interiors too.

so even if kawasaki built them, the design follows the existing metro

car design that has been used by existing cars.

for example, Hyundai Rotem is building SEPTA's new Silverliner V,

but you will never find any train that remotely resemble silverliner in Korea.

  • NICE video! I hope 2 visit TOKYO one day!

  • For me at first it was strange because America is such a loud country, but it is very quiet on those trains like there is some unwritten code of behavior only known to the japanse..who knows. I mean when I even got of the plane the whole feeling of the airport was different too, when I got back to LAX i wanted to climb back in the cargo hold and go back to Narita because it was so dirty noisy and loud...not to mention I hadn't heard so much english in a month so it was kinda startling...yep

  • 日本の列車がシンポールの列車に似ているのではじゃなくて

    シンガポールの列車が日本の電車に似ているのだよ

  • its almost the same in stockholm..

  • nobody talks on those trains and if they do it reeaaly quitly, it scared me and my school mates out but i guess its cause in australia we all talk real loud and laugh lol obnoxious much XD

  • yeah in aus in melbourne i can talk to anybody on the train and thell talk back

  • reminds me of Toronto...

  • This was the best line to take not as crowded as the JR Metro lines but then again we went at an odd time of day I'm sure it's really croweded during rush hr.

  • I can feel the chills down my spine by only watching a metro in Tokio lol. I really need to go there!

  • well first, mexico city metro is very efficient and quick but it needs some improvement, and also other cities like Guadalajara and Monterrey DO have a metro system. Guadalajara metro is very good, much better, safer, quicker and cleaner than mexico city's

  • The train is so clean!! oO

In german they are all dirty and smell

  • Like the ones in New York City! lol

  • Naze ga ippakunakatta denshya desun de shuumatsu desu ka?

  • the train is so still u dont need a handle....but usa train mta..makes you fall=]

  • Have u ever been to Tokyo?

If u been there, u wouldn't say that.

I ve been to France and I felt like

Paris was just shit, dirty and poor infra city.

TOKYO,LONDON,NY is the only world best 7 stars cities in the world.

  • Are you kidding me the subways in New york are really dirty, I know because I live there. But the subways in paris are much cleaner but smellier. And very organized.

  • :O

    big noise when running...

    is bad.

  • ????????????

  • Japan has got a really interesting culture which is very different from ours. I want to experience it it for some months on an language holiday course there but many people want to do this too so I have to wait. It must be a weird feeling to be there being a western people.

  • i like japan, and i want to move there when i get older!

  • Mee too!!! But not when i get older, y want to move right now!!

  • los TRENES DE TOKIO

son lo mejor no hay komparacion ^_^

  • People have bags and suitcases so it must be rush hour, and its quiet compared to CTA subways especially the red line

  • definetly not rush hour.

you can tell when it's rush hour in tokyo by the amount of people being packed into the train by professional train packers (their actual job is pushing people in the train so the doors will close)

  • nup. rush hours muuuuccchhh worse.

  • I wan in Chicago back in '96.

We really wanted to take subways there, but my parents didnt let us to...

  • wow! that's a nice subway in Mexico City it's always full of ppl and the trains are kinda old except the 2:Cuatro Caminos-Tasqueña Line

  • Idiot!! that's not mexico city...they are TOO poor to afford this.....

  • I know dude it isn{t mexico city, their trains are can't compare to tokyo's modern ones,Mexico City Metro Sucks!

  • does mexico city even have metro lol

  • Mexico city has one of the most efficient metro systems in the world.

  • yes but it needs some improvements, it should be as good as Guadalajara and Monterrey metro

  • Mexico has a metro too, but only in Mexico City, not in the rest of the country.

  • I have to correct my prior comment. Mexico has 3 Metros, Mexico city, Guadalajara and Monterrey, you can look for them in youtube.

  • I live in NYC and have visited Tokyo.

The Tokyo subway is incredibly quiet compared to NYC's. Granted NYC's subway is even older than Tokyo's, over 100 years old.

  • Depends which line.

    Oedo line is terribly noisy.

  • Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic) Metro first line (14.5 km) is 70% finishes, will open as scheduled (so far) in February 2008. Plans on constructing the second line already started will be longer (not sure I guess +20km). The master plan is to stuff Santo Domingo with subways within 20 years.

  • ahh...trains are wonderful creations!

  • i really have no clue why but i love subways so much.

  • You're not alone. I'm a big fan of subways as well.

  • same here...

  • Is this the new 10000 Model for the Yurakucho Line?

  • Yeah, seriously. Try Astor Place on the uptown 6. Guaranteed 110+ dB volume when an express train passes.

  • noisy?

come ride the nyc subways, where after 15 minutes your brain will be reduced to a bloody pulp.

  • the noise is like when those R38's roll down the tracks in the NYC subway

  • es muy parecido al metro de Santiago

    Saludos de Chile

  • Is very noisy when the train start moving...

  • They're normally noisy ^^;; The metros at my place are like that too, but they don't have that annoying metal doors banging on the door noises. Our doors have rubber... so it's less noisy.

  • They have rubber...

  • Too noisy... all doors have rubber anyways...

  • sound is not actuary doors banging. its actually from the rail track. since the metro was built about 80 years ago, they didn't use concrete as tie but they rather used steel. thats why they make so much noise.

  • mayb the mic of camera was too good.

i'm japanese & living tokyo.but thats not so noisy.
