  • Erik Paulson is my hero, he has a weath of knowlage and principles!

  • Awesome real-world shit. I love it when guys have this kind of knowledge and mad skills. There aren't many combat artists out there with real-world skills. Absolutely beautiful techniques!!!

  • Erik Paulson's one cool mofo.I want this guy to teach me some stuff.

  • what a sic cunt!

  • funny i use to bounce used the neck crank all the time front hl love it...always great stuff EP.

  • Snap...him...to...the...floor...lol...love this dude

  • that human code enforcing wigan gobbit just sold this dvd for me damn!

  • haha i love how the guy is tapping out and Erik puts another move on him

  • I'm gonna buy this DVD asap when I get the money

  • If you ever have a chance to go to one of his seminars go ahead you will learn a lot.

  • i studied tae kwon do. and it suck to these tkd instructors are not teaching realistic self defense! I have to look to other styles like jkd krav maga and grappling to learn how to defend myself.

  • @mrcharles007 same here... TKD is nice but once a bigger dude gets close and grabs a hold of you, it doesn't matter how sweet your hook kick is...

  • after this video i can't stop imagining a bar fight between erik paulson and bas rutten

  • @thejibboo If they were a tag team in bar fights, they'd be undefeated champions lol

  • Excellent of simplicity... at least it seems :-) Wrestling is at the top of the food chain!

  • "oh wait, are you mouthing off? do you need to be escorted out?" hahaha

  • That guy got fucked up !

  • @onetao8 Yes I did. I'm still hurting from that video.

  • @robnajar Why did you do it ??????

I hope you got some kind of compensation, for putting your neck on the line so the rest of us can see how it's done.

  • really like these bouncer techniques

  • at 3:59 mr p slaps the back of the volunteer

ive seen this in a couple other vids now

where the expert puts a hurt on

the partner - to show the effect - but in doing so perhaps has gone a little further than he had intended

jusy my inference but i take it as the master letting the student know he - the master - has gone a bit far kinda

'i knew youre tuff enuf to take it' kinda thing

a compliment really tho painfully earned

    mr p ftw no doubt

  • @JustAintthatWay It's worthy of mention that the first 30 minutes or so of this DVD is devoted to the healing side of things, and proper warmups for the neck before he goes into the vigorous cranking. I think a lot of lip service is given to warmup exercises and the healing side of things, but Paulson takes the time to show solo and partner neck adjustments... learning the Healing modality is given a lot of attention in this video.

  • bought the dvd

60 seconds here 3:30 - 4:30 worth its cost alone

'the most humane way to end a fight is to choke a guy (out)'

the brutal irony of these words is - to me - the beauty & attraction of the martial arts

but i cant help still to think of the vietnam

war analogy, 'we had to destroy the village to save it'

    mr p ftw as always

& thnx for the 'tube too

  • in 3:57 was that a grovit?or a front face lock?could any one enlighten me..

  • That was a classic front face lock. You can also place your right hand on the top of the opponent's shoulder/trap instead of the upper arm. Both work exceptionally well. A bail out throw from that position will definitely break their neck so be careful.

  • awesome video...

  • I just love all his little sound effects :D

  • what is the human conduct code?

  • Don't be an asshole to other people?

  • I remember choking out my first opponent with the choke at 830. Ahhh the memories.

  • all killing techniques. Very dangerous to practice.

  • great stuff

  • This is Catch As Catch Can Wrestling.

  • Erik's the best..

  • @MisterAaronSmith How long did he train with Gene Lebell?

  • I love his videos... I love them... What more can I say! Another classic!

  • I was the grappling dummy for this video. It was shot over a year ago and my neck is still not fully healed!

  • Good God. Lol

  • lol I ended up having an epidural for 3 bulding disks!

  • daaaammnnn!!!!! talk about human conduct

  • @robnajar thats crazy

  • @djdarryltaylor It was pretty crazy man. Lucky for me my neck is feeling a lot better. Check this one out - my buddy was preparing for a fight in Taiwan. He went to the chiro for therapy a couple weeks before the fight. The chiro cracked his neck wrong & herniated his disks. The day he was supposed to hop on the plane, he couldn't stand the pain anymore and drove himself to the hospital. He had to have surgery immediately. The Dr said if he fought, he would either be paralyzed or dead.

  • @robnajar ya your neck and back aint nothing to mess with..ill be careful when i train these areas thats for sure..

  • @robnajar LMao

  • @robnajar :( That sucks. That is not OK.

  • @robnajar wou.....is it really worth? i mean its your health?

  • @robnajar

    This is true!

  • I like that phrase, the code of human conduct.

Hope to train with you in Sarasota again!

  • I like it!!
