No, it doesn't have an extra letter. Where are you guys learning this? It's not a "two" sound, its a "toe" sound. So if you want extra letters, it'd be Arigatoe, but that looks even worse and would end up sounding even different.

I learned to spell it that way from my high school japanese course, and my aunt.

It's Arigatoo or Arigatou. It's a LONG SOUND, which in Japane is spelled by putting "u" after "o". Not an e. That doesn't make sense.

The song is actually (or at least originally) called Grand Theft Autumn. Most ppl mistake it as Where Is Your Boy?. It is by Fall Out Boy. One of their older songs.
