@hibyelol1 acetone nail polish remover it will melt them off. but with cheaper nails like that you can usually just pull them off after a couple of days

@missliz06 they did have an idea for it, but they suggested you place the fabric on top of wet nude polish which would have turned into a smudged mess. The lace stayed on for an entire week- hand washing && showers included :) (I took them off after a week because I get bored easily)

Great tutorial, as always!

A tip I recently learned, to prevent fraying on the lace -- cut it with those zigzag blade scissors that are used in scrapbooking. It completely eliminates fraying. Or, if you can't find the zigzag scissors, use regular scissors but try to cut in a zigzag pattern.

You did say it in the second part, but as I was watching the first part I was definitely like . . . Doesn't it work much better to paint and put lace on the fake nails BEFORE you put them on your own nails? I would think that would be one advantage to the fake nails; you could get use both hands to cut around the lace perfectly and not have to worry about cutting and gluing around your cuticles. Glad you mentioned it because I think that way is much easier!

@toigerr fake nails are easier to apply the lace to and also remove. The length is shorter to avoid looking tacky.
