this band stopped being relevant when taylor left.........and im a fool lol cos i saw em twice in 76 when ronnie first joined.sadly they were crap.and in my opinion still are.i love the early songs and love the institution of the stones etc.but really they cant play live for toffee.yet i still watch lol.oh well.
@MrDrummerpony Relevance might be relative. Saw them on tour in December 65. Supporting acts: The Vibrations, The Rockin' Ramrods (Boston Garage Rocker) and it seems Patti LaBelle and the Blue Belles. Now the thing about the show, in San Jose, Calif. was that flyers were distributed for the premier Merry Prankster Acid Test, held at an apt. in town.
listening to this, it only seemed natural that Mick Taylor left the band.. Could you imagine Mick Taylor playing this sort of stuff.. I', not saying its crap by the way.
why is the pitch higher than it should be?

@spyonthesoftparade Know what you mean. It's ok, in fact quite good compared to some of the 80s/90s shit but Taylor was in a different class to this.

Hey... good on them for being absolute pioneers of rock'n'roll and for kicking on for so long.
Having said that... that wasn't amazing... They all look like skeletons with chicken skin draped over them.
