I think it's generally understood that they put it on as a joke - "video of the year" meaning that it's a hilarious video looking back, but at the time they were at least somewhat irritated.

I'm sure they had a good time, but it seems pretty damn obvious that they weren't especially appreciative of that girl's interruption.
